  1. ADS 7" LCD Digital Photo Frame w/128MB Memory $54.99 + $5 shipping condition: New product(s): 1 ADS 7" LCD Digital Photo Frame w/128MB Memory
  2. There's about 10% left on the horribly boring radar detector. I wanted the Belkin docking station but by the time I got on it, it was sold out. The last two items on Yugster (wireless mouse and LCD screen cleaner) didn't seem like any great bargain.
  3. Audiovox BU-1 Vehicle Security Back Up Alarm $3.99 + $5 shipping condition: New product(s): 1 Audiovox BU-1 Vehicle Security Back Up Alarm
  4. Netgear 802.11g Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter $9.99 + $5 shipping condition: Refurbished product(s): 1 Netgear WG111 802.11g Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter
  5. Very nice house! I noticed that the taxes are so cheap compared to here. The taxes on a house in that price range here are about $8,000-10,000/year, depending on the town. I hope you find a buyer soon and enjoy your new home. :)
  6. Yay! I made it in this time! I always seem to miss the signup. I love these things!!! We did a Valentine's one for my mom's group and a Secret Stork for my pregnancy group. Lots of fun!
  7. Our dollar spot was 50% off today. I picked up 6 each of the first aid kits and frog scissors for the Cub Scout den. I got dd1 the golf set for $1.25. They also had the stuff near the men's section for 50% off. I got ds5 a set of binoculars for $12.50 because he's been all into bird watching lately, ds10 a multitool for $5.00, and dh a grooming set with clippers and trimmer for $7.50. Ds5 was complaining because he wanted the golf set (which was too small for him) so hubby said, "You don't like what you got? I'll trade you because mommy got me a nosehair trimmer!" Gee, appreciative family.
  8. Has anyone checked this mail car for the paint code? The mail car is on the list of recalled Thomas & Friends, but Derek can't find his at the moment. If it's a recalled one I'll make him look harder so that we can send it out. I like that they have the list with the pictures of the recalled trains. He was able to easily look at the list and point out the trains that he has.
  9. $11.25 to Connecticut.
  10. I've caught the deal a few times in the past couple of weeks but everyone in our house now has plenty of shoes thanks to the $10 off special. :)
  11. I definitely would pay more than $100 for a nice Italian leather purse, but not for this plastic one!!! I was just eyeing one in BJ's that I thought was a steal for $84.99, lol. I would probably spend up to $200 if I could expend the effort to even carry a purse any more, lol. I keep my Moto Q in a leather case with my debit card and AMEX and that's more than enough for me to carry these days, lol.
  12. Nope, but my sister does, lol. She works in a doctor's office though.
  13. Be glad you no longer have Allstate. They are one of the WORST. If I had to name the 3 worst companies to deal with, they'd definitely be in the running for first place!
  14. You can return JCPenney stuff at Eckerd? As in the drug store?
  15. KOPenney, you sure seem to know a lot about blinds! Do you mind if I ask you about mine? I'm not sure what to do because my kitchen cabinets are right next to my slider and there's only about 1/2 inch between the molding of the sliders and the cabinet. I really don't want to have to buy custom blinds. My kids destroy them and I know they won't last for more than a couple of years. I looked at the Levelors and I liked them and wouldn't mind spending the money if I didn't already know that my kids will mess them up.
  16. I bought an adaptor from Comptick and they were good. http://store.comptick.com/pa3283u.html There is a number to call them if you're not sure exactly what you need.
  17. Turtle, as a shop I would not have allowed that to happen. If you can't show them the damage, they're not going to pay for it. An alignment machine is not going to tell you if there are slight problems with the frame measurements. If the appraiser is not being agreeable, you do not have to accept that. It should have been your department head's job to call and ensure that her damages were paid. That, my friend, is why I'd NEVER have my car repaired at a dealership. I can't even begin to list the "re-repairs" that we did on cars that were "repaired" by dealerships. The guys in my shop had 20+ years of experience each. We'd take cars in to have things reset (some SAAB and VW things can only be reset by the dealer) and they'd ask "Where was it hit?" after we'd just finished reconstructing 20k+ in damages. :) Again, it comes back to know your rights... and know your repairer, lol. The woman should never have paid that 3,000 and I can promise that would not happen if she had come to the place I worked. That 3,000 would have been written as a supplement and we would have called the insurance company daily until it was PAID. If need be, on a rare occasion, a letter to the insurance commissioner can help. Another thing that sometimes works is holding the car hostage until they pay, lol. (You do not have to release the car until the bill is paid in full.) If they are paying loss of use compensation, they like to try to clear the claims up as quickly as possible. I can't blame the insurance company for that one. Of course they try not to pay! It's their job, lol. It's YOUR job (well, your boss') to MAKE SURE they pay! Aren't you glad you left that job, lol. I actually miss mine. I used to keep a state statute book on my desk and start quoting insurance regulations if they gave me a hard time. I'm sure they didn't like me much, but my customers sure did!
  18. I was doing some reading on Berkshire Hathaway and Warren Buffet last week for a class discussion about corporate takeovers. That man sure does know how to pick 'em. I believe he now owns Geico entirely.
  19. I used to manage a collision repair shop and we had a great Geico appraiser in our area. (I personally had Geico insurance during a good portion of that time.) They were not among the more difficult to deal with. There are many insurers out there who are MUCH WORSE than Geico. Like the pp said, the important thing is to know your rights and stand up for them. It's also helpful to have a repair shop that knows how to deal with the companies and will ensure that you get the full value for your repairs so that they can be done properly. The only problem I ever had with Geico was their blatant steering of customers to their DRPs (direct repair providers). Many people were under the impression that they had to use these shops, which is not true and also not legal. Geico is not the only company that does this, though, and you are entitled to go wherever you want for your claim.
  20. If you're looking for a real $10 off code go to www.msn.com and scroll down to the bottom right hand side and click on the Save $10 off shoes link. It's there periodically and was there tonight when I ordered some. If you register, you get 10% off any purchases in 60 days. It's pretty easy to keep that 60 days going perpetually with all the specials they run -- at least in my house, lol. I've ordered 4 pairs of crocs since Thursday. They're too hard to pass up at $15-$18!
  21. Like the others said, definitely look around for a deal. I remember reading something about a daily activity fee or something. You might want to look into that before reserving. I recall that people were trying to work deals to get the fees included or waived or whatever. I'm not sure about the current situation, but wanted to give you a head's up.
  22. You can get the Stride Rite ones on Shoebuy.com and get $10 off! I love Shoebuy, lol. I bought Crocs for my kids there on Thursday night and they shipped yesterday afternoon. Free shipping! They'll end up costing you around $15, but they'll certainly last the whole season as long as you size it right. You didn't say boy or girl, but they have both. Here is one of the boy ones: http://www.shoebuy.com/stride-rite-del-mar-two-strap/141317/327185 And girl ones: http://www.shoebuy.com/stride-rite-del-mar-fisherman/178683/402663 Oh yeah, to get the $10 off go to www.msn.com and scroll down near the bottom right of the page where it says $10 off shoes. There is also a thread for Shoebuy in the online hot deals forum. This special is available intermittently. I missed it the last time (about a week ago) but caught it this time. If you miss it, it might be worth it to wait another week or so and it will probably come back.
  23. I saw some in small sizes in WalMart last night that were not expensive. I got my son Skeechers water shoes end of season last year at Toys R Us and he wore them to a pool party last week. I'm excited that they fit him! I figured they'd just be good for our winter vacation to Disney, but maybe he can get a little more use out of them. :)
  24. Thanks! I ordered a pair of Crocs for each of my sons last night in navy. I tried to order some for my dd, but they only had chocolate or khaki in her size so I passed. Do they usually get more in different colors? Is it worth it for me to keep checking back for her? Also, I read feedback that they run big. She's just getting into size 4 infant shoes. Is it worth it to order her the 4/5 infant Crocs?
