  1. So, I spoke with the store manager in my store. He said that most stores are not going to sell it for that price because they actually lose $60 per hard drive. The managers in other stores have the option of changing the price in the system but if a customer raises enough of a fuss they are supposed to bring the price to $33.99. Also, the hard drive is a Free Agent Pro now a Free Agent which is what we now have in our store. Our store is sold out but if we get anymore I'll pick up a few to send out to you guys.
  2. Haha, I totally would buy some but the closest store to me is sold out. The other store in Buford is over an hour away. Otherwise I'd be happy to pick some more up.
  3. It may just be the stores in my area. I apologize for that, I didn't do anything special. I just picked up the drives and brought them to the front. The display showed the original price but they were priced at a discount at the register.
  4. Best Buy has the DVD for $14.99 with a free plushy and a $4.99 bank that has classic jungle book covers on it. Seemed cool.
  5. Buford still had some left in stock. In fact it seemed like they had no idea the hard drive went on clearance.
  6. That's probably because it's a clearance item in the store. It popped up in our store as a clearance item two weeks ago and is now even cheaper. Maybe it's just the stores near me that still had them in stock.
  7. Hey, sorry about the late reply. I've been out of town. The part number is 9NG6AG-570 I believe. The UPC is 763649003039 and it's a FreeAgent Pro. I work as a vendor in a Best Buy in Athens, GA and apparently there's a lot of computer merchandise that's supposed to go on sale soon. I'm not sure how many stores will have these deals but I did purchase another at the Best Buy in Buford, GA as well. There aren't signs out for the deal, you would probably just have to bring it to the register to check.
  8. Best Buy just clearanced out a 320Gig Seagate Free Agent Pro External Hard Drive. The price in store is $33.99 even though the tag says $101.99. Even most employees don't know about it yet it seems.
  9. Well, I decided to have a friend fly out from Colorado on my vouchers. I put them up on ebay and actually could have sold them for about $300 but ebay wanted me to sign up for something to keep the auction up. I just bought the cups instead of drinks so it only cost me like $30 total.
  10. I wasn't sure where to post this but this is where I heard about it in the first place. When the wendy's/airtran special was going I ended up with one free round-trip ticket good until this August. I have had no use for it and doubt that I will before August. Is there any way to transfer the trip to another person or buy a ticket for someone else using them?
  11. Thanks for all of the positive feedback. This is always a great place for advice. I will probably be going with Geico sometime soon. My quote was lower by about $600 from USAA but my parents were higher so they'll stay with USAA. Thanks again.
  12. My girlfriend totaled my car about two weeks ago and I'm nearly finished with my search for a new one. I currently have USAA insurance through my dad but going from only liability to comp/coll will cost about $1000 per 6-months. I checked Gieco and my rate will be closer to $450 per 6-months. I've read some horrible reviews of Geico's service and USAA is supposed to have the best service of anyone. Should I change providers to save or stick with a company that will treat me right in an accident?
  13. I live in Athens as well, I'll have to check that out.
  14. After the Amazon.com fiasco with the Xbox 360 I'm hesitant to sign up for something like this. I'm sure every item sells out in less than a few seconds.
  15. Last year Comp USA opened at Midnight or 10:00 I believe. We got in line around about two hours early and were the first in line.
