Year Without a Santa Claus is my alltime favorite!!! There's no way you could have missed it, lol. It's the one with the two brothers Heat Miser and Snow Miser and their mother is Mother Nature. Santa had a cold and he was going to take the year off because people didn't believe and I think he was a little sad. Jingle and Bells go with Vixen to get people to show their spirit for Santa. Mrs. Claus talks to Mother Nature about her boys to get it to snow in Southtown so that people will believe. :)

I caught Frosty the other night and then watched Polar Express. I love Christmas shows! This post just reminded me to check what's on and I found Richie Rich's Christmas Wish for ds6 (or me, lol) to watch now. :)

Got it! Thank you! I went to a WalMart around 8:30am yesterday. They didn't have it, but the toy guy pointed me to the leftover $10 Transformers 2 pack from Black Friday! Hit! I asked if there was a way to see if any other stores had the Vtech toy and he told me to ask at customer service. The store was dead so the customer service lady started calling other stores. I got on my cell phone and started, too. We worked together and finally found one about 45 minutes from that store, but only about 20 minutes from my house. :)

Twin size Fleece Thermal Blanket Around $5.75 shipped @ blair.com
Kayakmom replied to shanni's topic in Online Hot Deals
Excellent! I got a pink blankie for the twin bed in my daughters' room. Right now there's just a comforter on there since it's only used by my mom when she visits. Now it can have its own blanket. Thanks! :) -
Old Navy codes out there any where?
Kayakmom replied to my2aboys's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
They must not like me, lol. I tried with two different emails and neither worked. I checked the box for gap on one of them and did get a code for gap to use with the gift card I have from there, so that works. I still need to find one for ON, though! I want to buy some jeans for the little boy we're buying for from the women's shelter. -
Thank you both for your help! I will try a few local WalMart stores tomorrow until I find one! If I only pay $25, I'm going to sneak over the limit just a little and buy the boy the A/C adapter. I'm sure the family cannot afford batteries and I want him to be able to play it to his heart's content. :)

The reason they are probably blurring is because of movement. In order to take a picture in the darker lighting conditions, the lens needs to stay open longer. The longer the lens is open, the less forgiving it is to even the tiniest movement. What I might suggest is to get something to set your camera on or to steady your arms on and then very carefully take the photo. This should help. What kind of camera do you have? What kind of settings are available to you? If there is a night landscape feature, that might work. The best is probably going to be no flash with the camera stabilized on a tripod or some other makeshift way.

Please does anyone have any ideas? I just went through all of the American Express discounts but none of the stores with discounts have it. I am about to try Visa. I really want to get this for this boy.

I need help! I need to find a VTech Nitro Notebook for $30. We are participating in an Angel Tree sort of thing for a local shelter. Each child is allowed to pick out 4 items, but none must exceed $30 and we are given specific instructions not to spend more than $30. I wouldn't mind going over by a couple dollars, but the least I can find this item for is $39.99. If anyone can help me, I'm sure it would bring a smile to the 7 year old boy's face when he opens it on Christmas morning. I know he really wants this to help him with his math. I've been told he is a very nice and polite boy and a very good big brother. :)

Official Non-Woot "Deal-a-Day" Sites Deal & Discussion Thread
Kayakmom replied to Brad's topic in Online Hot Deals
These things are usually only on sale for one day. Also, they are only available until they sell out usually. I'm not sure about the motorcycle cover, but I know that's how it works for woot. Each day they post one item. Periodically they have a woot off, which is when they keep selling items as one sells out throughout the day. You get great bargains sometimes, but you have to be right on it. -
That's my trick for ds6, lol.

My ds11 asked for a guitar, a "$59 mountain bike", and a remote control car. He is getting all of those things. My ds6 asked for everything under the sun. He is not getting nearly what he asked for, lol. Besides, what he wants changes from day to day. He's also the type of kid who is happy with anything he gets. Dd 20 months doesn't have a list, but I know what she wants. So far she is getting a big stuffed Dora doll that hubby and I picked up tonight, an Ariel ride on toy, a few little items from Claire's (hair things, bracelets, etc.), the purse set from Collections, and a My First Kitchen Set. She'll be thrilled. I haven't bought anything for dd 6 months, but she doesn't need anything. I'll get her a few things more for show for the other kids' benefit than necessity.

I'm going to get my mail carrier a gift certificate to a local beading store. (She started making her own jewelry this summer and it's beautiful!) She's the best!! :)
-
Thanks! I saw this earlier today and was debating. After watching my dd 20 months walk around all afternoon with her pink fuzzy purse, I decided to go for it. Even if I don't let her use the jewelry yet, the purses will be great! She has white fuzzy boots and a coat from Gymboree and the white fuzzy purse will match perfectly for her highness.

Nice! I like Sierra Trading Post. I've ordered from them a lot in the past and the customer service has been excellent. :) -
Yeah! And the XBOX 360 remotes, too.

I think it might be Staples but their site is really having a hard time at the moment.

Thanks! I'm doing my uncle's shopping and I wanted a Zune for my cousin, but I knew she wouldn't be thrilled with brown. I got her a white one with the discount for $116.20. :)

It's a code you would have gotten last time you ordered. I've used it twice so far. Last time I ordered Stuart Little 1 & 2 so I got Stuart Little 3 this time. I also got Big Daddy. I love that movie! While I was there, I grabbed the Achievements & Unlockables as well as a Halo 3 Guide for hubby. They had a bumper car game for 360 for $2.99 so I got that for myself and the kids. If we get even slight entertainment from it, it will be worth it. :) I don't like all that Gears of War and Halo stuff he plays!

The games are the same for DS and DS Lite.
