  1. I have it open in my basket in another window and I'm contemplating, lol. I want to get ds9 a laptop for school (he has a writing disability and this would make school much more pleasant for him). I'm just concerned about the breakage factor and the thing is, with Dell, you can buy that Complete Care accidental damage coverage. Does anyone know if it is possible to buy this kind of coverage for other laptops? I've only ever seen it offered through Dell. They cover any accidental damage (spills, drops, etc.) but not intentional damage (it says hammer marks, lol). Does anyone know if any other companies over this type of coverage? With this coverage for one year, the total would be $656 before $100 rebate. I think I should consider this coverage for myself in the future because I've already broken one screen off by falling asleep in bed. Pushover mom still debating...
  2. I woke up at 4:40 all on my own (weird pregnancy thing) so I threw on some clothes and was out the door in under 2 minutes, lol. It took a few for the car to warm up in this cold weather but I pulled into the Kohl's parking lot just as they unlocked the doors. It seemed that many were running for the jewelry counter tickets, so it was a pretty straight shot to toys. It was fairly crowded, but not rediculous, and people were really nice about helping me to keep my towering pile of toys balanced, lol. There were a few brutal ones, but for the most part everyone was nice. There were plenty of toys for all of the good little girls and boys. :) I stopped for bagels and was back home by 5:40 before anyone noticed I was gone.
  3. I wasn't going to go out because I'm prego and hubby was worried about me going out just to save a few dollars, but when I woke up at 4:40am, I couldn't resist!!! I went to Kohl's for the 50% off toys. For my four year old, I got a ton of GeoTrax, some Dora stuff, a Miss Spider doll w/ a book, Crayola bath crayons and Play Doh. Everything I bought was 50% off and it came to $87.21. I couldn't get any more because I couldn't carry it! I left with 3 big bags full of toys. Not bad! For my 9 year old, I've been considering a laptop after reading here all the time. He could really use it for school. He's got a writing disability but seems to like using the laptop. I think I'm going to go with the Dell and buy the accident protection if I get him one. A $378 laptop isn't worth much if it's broken in a week! I hope everyone got what they wanted today.
