I went to the Kohl's website to see if they mentioned a time limit and they do not. So if you have your receipt you can return it regardless of when you purchased it - even it was more than one year ago. If your receipt doesn't mention a time frame either - then there isn't one.

One of the cool features with Wii is that you can download other Nintendo games for the older systems onto the Wii hard drive. I haven't seen a list of what's available, it is just been said that for $5 to $10 per game you can access some of the greatest games for the Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis and TurboGrafx-16 consoles. You'll see stores selling the Wii points card .. and you can redeem points for games. If you go to BestBuy.com .. they have the games listed and show the release date. There are only a few games that will release between release date and Christmas.

Buy something with a warranty on it .. luggage can be so cheaply made that it falls apart easily. Samsonite is more expensive, but it comes with a lifetime warranty. With luggage, you get what you pay for most of the time. You buy cheap luggage, you get cheap luggage IMHO.

I can just imagine 100 ppl showing up at 6pm .. what a zoo .. someone is bound to get hurt!

My 12 year old asked for a digital camcorder. I saw some for under $100.00 recently. Might be good for him to help document the legalization of your new family!

You should be able to use that one since it came right from their website. I know you can't send in a copy of your receipt ... maybe that's what you read.

And FYI to everyone .. my Target refused to price adjust for BF items last year. I had to rebuy and return every item I had bought in advance. I called Target 800 guest services (Customer Service refused to give me the number - I had to actually speak to the mgr of the store to get it) to complain. I was told they would contact the manager of that store and advise them that he was incorrect in not price adjusting my merchandise and I got a $10 GC for my trouble. My local Target mgr is just a butt-head .. I have run ins with him before trying to make up his own rules.

I know it used to be that there was no time limit as long as you had your receipt. If it is more than one year, they generally will give you a store credit instead of a refund. I know I have returned stuff that I have had for more than one year with the tags and the receipt and I was not given any problems or asked any questions.

I've lost my recipe .. but I like making "Monkey Bread". You make it from frozen rolls, pudding, butter and nuts. Let it sit all night in a bundt pan and the bread will rise .. pop it in the oven when I get up .. yummy .. turns out like sticky buns.

As a solo BFer .. I usually make a deal with the people directly behind me so far as potty breaks, HOT coffee breaks .. etc .. they let me make a quick run .. I bring them back something, my treat. So far has worked every time - but I am usually not gone for more than 10 minutes. I also allow people to leave their place in line to smoke .. but I do that as a public service.

Usually the first weekend in January. I had a neighbor who would take down all their decorations December 26th by noon.

Home Alone Jingle All The Way A Christmas Story White Christmas Elf Christmas with the Kranks Miracle on 34th Street Santa Clause & Santa Clause 2 oh and place an order with Oriental Trading Company .. lots of cheap Christmas decorations without having to travel past your keyboard. Have a family member burn you a CD with their favorite Christmas music. And add yourself to the Gotta Deal Christmas card exchange if you haven't done so already - it might be too late tho! That's a great way to get into the spirit! Post a message on your local Craigs list asking for someone's old decorations. As people are getting new ones, they usually just throw out the old.

I love this one. You take a small gift and wrap it .. you then wrap another gift on top of that one. You basically keep adding a gift for every person you have. If you have alot of people, you can do more than one gift. Put on some holiday music .. it's like musical chairs .. but with a gift. Start the music and pass the gift(s). Keep passing the gift until the music goes off. Whoever is holding the gift when the music stops, unwraps the first layer, keeps the gift they unwrapped and then sit out. Keep going in rounds until all the gifts are unwrapped. It's fun!

My DDs are 15 and 12. Each year starting with Baby's First Christmas they have gotten an ornament. I always get the Dream Book when it comes out and have them give me a few of their choices for their ornament. It usually is whatever they are into that year. This year oldest DD picked the Pirates of the Caribbean ornament. I also bought the Hoops & YoYo one cause they are are so darned cute! It's fun each year to take the ornaments out and "remember when". I'm still on the hunt to replace 12 DDs Baby's first ornament cause it went out with the tree a few years back. I had a website, but lost it when I had to rebuilt my computer.

Every year my kids say it looks like my tree threw up. We pile the ornaments on more and more each year. lol I do use the old school bubble lights every year .. love them !
