When my mom passed away in May, we found the ornaments she had bought for us a few years back that she had forgotten to give us. I finally just handed my kids a bunch of stuff Christmas night and said "I got tired of wrapping - here". It was meant as stuff to keep them busy in car trips .. etc .. so it was for everyone ..

We will definately be on the lookout for the presales next year. My kids and I both LOVED it .. it was our first time. We will definately plan better. I did not realize the show was close to 3 hours long - we had to leave early cause of school the next day.

You can order extra controllers and nunchuks directly from Nintendo. I ordered mine on a Monday and they arrived on a Wednesday with the upgraded shipping. Just go to the Nintendo website and look for the link to purchase accessories. We love our Wii and have gotten several family members hooked on it as well. And yes my 12 year old is suffering from Wii shoulder. lol

I have been traveling this holiday and it is absolutely KILLING me not to be able to run to my Target and shop my little heart out. We got back around 7pm last night and I was soooo tempted to run and see what they had left. I really need some outdoor decorations. Fortunately, I have 2 Targets within 5 miles of me, so here's hoping something will be on the shelf when I swing by there tonight.

My Old Navy had very little left of kids clothes BUT their winter coats were almost all marked 50% off ..

And those easy buttons are adorable. When you press it, it says "that was easy" or something like that.

Some movies that she might have enjoyed while she was growing up. Anything from the 40s or 50s perhaps? Or maybe her favorite TV show on DVD? Almost everything is on DVD right now. I know I bought my mom a best of Carol Burnett DVD a few years back and we ALL loved that!

I was in my Old Navy last night and they already had their Old Navy Supply Line marked 75% off. It was all their dog items, wrapping paper, ornaments, holiday tins, wine boxes and stuffed animals. I walked out with some huge stuffed animals for like $3.25. Great for stocking stuffers!

SCORE! The controllers I ordered off the Nintendo site were delivered last night! Yipee! Both the Nunchuks and the classic controllers!

I have gotten so tired of checking all my local outlets for the extra controllers and nunchuks so I have given up and placed an order directly with Nintendo. They can't gte delivery by Christmas, but they are suppose to be getting in another shipment of controllers this week. Wish me luck! I haven't wrapped a thing yet .. fortunately my cubical is large enough I can convert it into a gift wrapping center for a day or two.

Walgreens is showing a $100.00 Visa Gift Card with an activation fee of $5.95 with a rebate on the activation.

The ones I've seen do have an activation fee. I'd check with your local bank as I know my kids have gotten some from their Grandmother's bank ..

You can log into Bestbuy.com and view all of your orders. I had to return an online order and customer service said they don't take returns for online orders. I looked at her and said - gee that's funny cause this receipt that they sent me says I can return it to my local Best buy. lol Once you have viewed your order you can print the invoice and return it to the store with that.

Phase Ten is a great card game that is fun for everyone. It's inexpensive as well so you could get in addition to a board game. Yahtzee is a good one, so is Trouble and Cranium has a family edition as well in addition to what has already been mentioned.

Could be the same way they did Black Friday .. the dreaded black shrink wrapped pallets. The only item that the WM I was in did tickets for was the huge TV. It's not hard for them to do .. they wheel the pallet into the middle of the aisle.
