I was at Walmart last night, Halloween stuff (except candy) was 30% off. Target Halloween will be 50% off tomorrow.

Don't even get me started on JuiceBox .. the only thing good I can say about it is that we bought the kit to turn it into an MP3 player.

I was happy that Hasbro has put out a whole new line of the discs for this holiday. I hate when I buy the "hot" toy of the year and then next year you can't find anything new for it. Good job Hasbro!

We spray the needles every other day with some water to help them be not so hard. You can also get the stuff to add to the water that is suppose to help it last longer, but I don't know if they work or not. Buy one of those tree bags to put underneath your tree stand for easy tree removal. But it can sometimes be a PITA to empty out all of the water before you take the tree out.

I picked up the jumbo Dora the explorer that TRU had onsale with your $50 purchase and dropped it into the Toys For Tots bin yesterday .. everyone around me was saying .. "good idea" .. I picked up an extra TMX Elmo yesterday, but if I decide to donate that one, I'm taking directly to the TFT drop off center that the servicemen run. No way will I just drop that little guy off anywhere. lol

Check out the website, some of the stores will list what they are offering. That closed the deal for me last year when I wasn't sure if I wanted to go. I love Banana Republic - the ENTIRE outlet store (including clearance) was 40% off.

Cars & POC are on my 15 year old DD list for Christmas.

But boy was I po'd when I got home and saw the Big Toy Book and found that coupon! I'm going back tonite to see if they will let me "return" some of my items and rebuy them back with the coupon.

I scored a Wiii preorder and 2 Elmos. The line for the PS3 presales started Saturday afternoon at 2pm. The last one went to the dude that had been in line since 6pm Saturday afternoon. I got in line at 2am Sunday morning. The manager had come out when the stored closed Saturday night and told them exactly what they had and the info was passed on to those that got there after that. Sad thing - no one believed the guys in the line and some folks that got there at like 4am missed out. They had correct information and then they got pissed when they didn't get a system. Even after TRU handed out a sheet of paper that said exactly how many systems they got in and people polled the line asking what everyone was getting they were still pissed. You forgot how cold 40 degrees is sometimes - don't ya? I now know what I need for BF!

You can also call your local Dept of Child & Family services. They had an article in our local paper about a month before Christmas looking for sponsors. In the case of foster children, some of the foster parents can't afford to buy them gifts, as DCFS doesn't normally give them money to provide them Christmas gifts.

I'm camping out too .. this is the only big thing I can think of that my kids would be remotely interested in for Christmas ..

Well, I get back into town about 3am on Sunday morning from a marching band competition .. tuck the kiddies into bed, then head off to TRU to camp out til 10am .. just got off the phone with my TRU and they are now saying they will have Wii avail for preorder on Sunday only.

I tend to shy away from some of the "angel" trees that are in the mall. In the past I have adopted foster children for the holidays. We've often actually delivered the gifts to the foster parents and once actually met the child. My children found that especially hit home for them.

Well tickets for the concert in my town go on sale tomorrow morning. But I have already bought mine !!!!! yipee!!! My DD best friend is so po'd at her for getting 5th row floor seats .. thanks to the OP again for this thread!

well you could always set up a stand outside and sell hot chocolate and coffee ...
