didn't know about the new account end date. They just replenished Amazon, Walmart and iTunes gift cards this morning. They've also added a few more gift cards. I hate that they limit the Amazon gift card to 1 every 7 days. There is no limit to the iTunes card though, it's only $5, but it's $5. Check your local schools to see if any of them are participating .. or post something on your FB page. I'm with you - I have more codes than I can enter. The new site will allow you to still enter codes, but they haven't said what you can get. Right now your codes get you sweepstake entries on the new site.

have you thought of opening several accounts to be able to enter your codes? They've lowered it to 75 points a week, but at least you could donate what you don't spend. I hope they replenish some of the gift cards. Amazon is out now and so is iTunes.

So frustrated with Target and the Beats wireless headphones. Our store had 3 when they opened. Stopped at guest services to see if they could double check that there were none in the store and she handled me one that someone had just returned!!

I got my kitchen appliances from Best Buy last year. Many of them were open boxed items which saved me a ton of cash. My fridge retailed at 2900 and I got it for 1100. My stove and dishwasher saved me almost 50% too. Plus the sales guy threw in for free a 5 year Geek Squad warranty on 2 of my big appliances. I walked out with a gift card for about $300 and also got extra Best Buy reward points. I opted to get the points over the finance special they were offering. And I think I got a better deal than if I would have waited for BF!

When my kids were younger, I'd work off their list. But they were also told that once their list was submitted .. they couldn't go back and add or take things off. That's the trouble with lists and ads. Once the holiday commericals start playing - their lists would always need to be updated.

So if you ordered the Apple Watch - it's on sale this week for less than it was on BF. DD24 went in and got a price adjustment since their PM price policy says its allowed as long as it is within the valid return date. Items bought after 11/1 can be returned until the beginning of January. She save $50.

For the first time in decades I didn't cook all the sides. Just did sweet potato soufflé which was the one dish stepdad requested. We did a fried turkey, squash casserole, dressing, fruit salad and rice salad.

for the first time in about 30 years - I may skip it this year too. Mostly what I'm after is DVDs, and I can buy those online Thanksgiving morning. But I'm already doing what the OP suggested. Taking my kids to DisneyWorld to see the Osborne Lights for their final year. And then headed to Universal for the new Harry Potter section. Memories always last longer anyway.

I bought DD24 a Mr. Coffee one last year. It has the Keurig label on it - uses 2.0. bought it at Ollies for 55.00, had a 15% off coupon, which brought it own to right aroundd $48.00. It has a water supply which holds about 8 cups of water, has 3 sizes to dispense. The K cups are pricey, but I've found them for as low at 33 cents a pod. Picked her up the refillable pod this weekend @ Walmart foor 4.97. That way she can use it for cider, tea or even make a coffee pod. she didn't ask for one - because she knew I wouldn't buy her one - but she told me she'd love to have one. And if your son doesn't take the time to clean it, it does get dirty and can get nasty in a heartbeat.

Best way to do kohls is to have someone get in line a few minutes after you get there. Their checkout lines are insane.

I have bought my kids Hallmark ornaments every year since they were born, but the quality of their ornaments has declined in the past few years. i have started some series for them which I have to finish, but they are so not worth the money anymore.

Love Five Below. A great place to get cheap electronic gadgets and stocking stuffers! If you are new to their world .. just a heads up .. they do not do refunds. If you have a defective product, they will exchange it for you. But if you buy something and then change your mind, they do not give you your money back. You can take it back to the store and see if they will let you get something else - but they do not have to. Just remember .. that $5 lightening pin cord won't last very long .. trust me .. maybe 4 or 6 months and then it's trash. but I do love shopping there!

Advance screening is the best one so far. And if you "like" them on FB you'll see when they have tickets faster than when they email out the notice. Create accounts with the studios and every once in a while you'll get an invite.

The reason I asked is because the signage changed. Last year it mentioned returning holiday items - this year it does not. Keeping my fingers crossed they return it at the price I paid.

has anyone had a hard time returning Christmas things? I noticed the signage changed this year. I'm not returning and rebuying - just returning some things bought at 50% off that I do not want.
