For those who like to buy Christmas stamps - buy double this year as stamps are going up in 2019 to 55 cents!! That's a 5 cent hike from this year and forever stamps are good .. well .. forever!! I'm stocking up on the Sparkling Holiday ones!! I love that Santa. And I wish I would have bought more Charlie Brown Christmas stamps last year. I'm down to my last sheet!

Outside has been decorated since last week. Hope to get the tree on Sunday and get most of it decorated. I have to wrap and ship my SS gifts. Trying to figure out what cards I want to send out for the card exchange!! My gift to my kids this year was a vacation so only buying little things for them. Need to wrap and ship my DD's gift down to Miami. The other one lives with me. I'll bake the week of Christmas. Not doing as much this year as before. Driving from NC to MS Christmas Eve and coming back Saturday or Sunday. Driving with my step-dad to visit his sister and her family. First Christmas I've spent without my two kids .. sigh ..

The shirt I ended up buying cost me $23 using m $20 KC, but would have cost like $17 without the Kohl's cash. I was under a time crunch, but I'll remember that for next time!

Just coming back to say how much I hate Kohl's cash. Hate that they take the Kohl's cash off the total and then take the discount. grrrr

We take down our tree around the first weekend in January. I get a real tree, so it also depends on how it is holding up! I keep all of my outside decorations until January 6th.

My SS package was delivered yesterday. It will go under my tree (when i put it up) and I will open on Christmas morning!

Christmas hasn't been the same for me since I lost my dad 25 years ago. It was his favorite holiday, and he passed on 12/5. I hang the ornament on the tree that I'd bought for him that Christmas every year. I lost my mom over 12 years ago and it got even harder. I haven't celebrated Thanksgiving or Christmas with my youngest in a few years since she moved. She's a chef, so it's always her busiest time. I actually had Thanksgiving dinner with my Ex since I knew both of us were going to be alone. I do have the outside of my home decorated, but I dread the rest. It's so much work and so hard since everything I own has some type of memory attached to it.
