I can't wait for my BFF to open her birthday gift on 12/18. She lives in Canada, and I hid her gift at her house when I was up there last week. Hope to be able to FaceTime her so I can see her reaction! I bought her a cologne she's been too cheap to buy for herself (her words)!

I order my Universal tickets from a company called Tickets At Work. You want to make sure you get park hopper tickets as you can sometimes do both parks in one day in the off season. Be very wary paying extra for the Express passes. They are not valid on some of the more popular rides. If you have alot of people in your party - it's cheaper to stay at an onsight Universal hotel. for Disney - they have tickets too - but man they are so expensive and no one really discounts those. If you belong to AAA, I'd check to see if they have any discounts for Disney. And I'm guessing this is for Florida - not California - right?

I bought the 40" TV from Target. I think it was $119. That was the most expensive item purchased, but I spent a lot on DVDs over the weekend.

It's a store where everything is $5 or less. It's a great place to shop for phone and tablet accessories, cheap electronics and gifts for everyone.

I returned the one I got last year because it doesn't like iTunes.

Just know that if you give them a homemade food item, it might not be eaten. People have so many food allergies and phobias, I stopped doing homemade food gifts a long time ago.

We didn't PM. The two things we wanted them to PM where no where to be found in the store.

I got a bogo Starbucks coupon. The guys in front of me got $10 and $50 off coupons.

I haven't been feeling it for the past 21 years when I lost my dad 3 weeks before Christmas. It's a chore but I muddle through. Next year both my girls will be out of the house and I will be spending it alone. Oh so hating the holidays right now. I'm already stressed about decorating and baking!

of course .. the one thing I wanted they not put online. ugh.

called all of my Walmarts at 9am .. none of them had TVs left. Oh well.

I got the 32" TV last year and I got an Emerson. So far, so good .. And I see a pic of the Emerson when I click on the object in my local ad.

last year I had a percent off coupon that they let me stack with a dollar off coupon. The associate said BF was the only day they allow that. I get them monthly via email and snail mail with my angel card.

Depends on how long the line is. I got my ticket and stayed in line and let others shop for me. You could leave the line and come back to pay .. but then you're right back at the end of the line. It was awful. The store I went to started handing out the tickets before the time because they knew they would not have enough in stock. So if you wanted to walk out the store with the item you had to wait.

The Walmart I went to would not let you pay for any item except the one you were buying from that department. So people were having to go get in the checkout lane again after they bought their item.

When they did this last year - employees gave you the option of waiting in line to get the item in hand that day or the option of taking the card that you could go online and purchase. They made it clear that you might not get your item in time for Christmas (mine came on 12/28) so if it wasn't a gift that needed to be under the tree I had the option to stand in line for something else. I think it took me 3 hours to pay for my iPad once they started ringing people up. It went so slow .. could be because you had to pay for your item in that line and there was one 1 register. sigh ..

Nope just wanted others to know of a similar thread in another forum.

I remember the first year my girls went in on a gift for me. They were so excited. I hate they spent as much as they did .. But i loved it. Truly shows the spirit of the season when they truly understand the season of giving!

Well that makes sense considering they've already released their ad.
