What a fun weekend. I love it when they show some of the older movies - like from the early 2000s, as I haven't seen those yet. Got into the Christmas spirit with their marathon this weekend!!

To get ready I just made a batch of brownies for a party tonight. I put 1/2 the batter in the pan, then do a layer of Hershey bars, then put the remaining batter on the top. Soooo yummy!!

I cheat and use canned sweet potatoes .. just as good and so much easier!

So the Hallmark Movies Now app does not show current Hallmark movies. They show older movies only. but in looking at the Hallmark Channel website, they say you can watch their channel on Sling - so I'm looking into that. My current rate plan expires on 12/7 and I have to decide soon!

nooooo .. that's terrible. This is about the only reason I'm keeping my cable! I'm wondering how long it will take this years movies to end up on the Hallmark movies now app.

I'm looking for some vegan cookie recipes. I baked a batch last year for my youngest, but want to try something new. BTW - they are a pain to make as you have to keep freezing the dough because if you don't they will melt when you bake them!

no big Christmas gifts this year at my house. Taking my kids and their partners to San Juan for a few days next month. They don't know it yet - but I'm picking up the tab for the AirBnB - so that is their Christmas gift this year. Making family memories is more important to us instead of things .. especially now that my kids are adults!

No one wants to sell you the phone anymore - they want to lease it to you. Then when the new one comes out - you get the new one. I hate it.

I have had good luck with the $5 ones Walmart has had the past few years. They charge super fast and last longer than most.

I went Saturday - there was hardly anything left. Lots of dog treats - we stocked up! Sam's brand of K cups. It was really random. They had it in the front of the store - took up about 3 rows. And tons of books - but they were all in boxes - and you really had to dig.

This has been extended one more day!
