And we do kinda of the same thing - we do the Buddig shaved beef, take some cream cheese and add some horseradish - normally about 2 Tbls to an 8oz block. Smear the cream cheese mixture onto the piece of beef, then roll it up. Yummy. My mom called them beef logs. So when should we be there? lol

It's still early in the holiday season. Those catalogs were all all my local CVS stores last year. They will eventually turn up.

but thing can change depending on your local store as well. I know the TV I waited in line for didn't sell as fast as they thought it would. So when it was my turn they asked me how many I wanted to buy.

that cheese turkey is too cute! My kids cry for cheese dip every year - I make it in the crockpot. It's the velveeta & rotelle tomatoe recipe - I also add cooked sausage to mine. We love taking the leftovers and make breakfast burritos the next morning. yummy!

They are not crockpots - but warmers. They won't cook food though. Great if she entertains alot. I am thinking about picking up a new waffle iron. They have started mass producing the hotel type ones - which are super easy to use and you will never burn or undercook a waffle again! I think just about all the major stores have them in their BF ads.

Go to her house and see what movies / TV shows she has on VHS. I did that one year and replaced some of my mom's VHS tapes with DVD. She had TV shows that she loved to watch - and it gave me great ideas! You'd be surprised what you can find that some people keep and won't erase!

I can't believe I'm the first person to say Kohl's. For those that say Best Buy & TRU - try shopping at Kohl's. Talk about long lines. You almost have to tag team it and have your partner grab a spot in line while you go and shop. Guarantee that 1 hour later that person will still be in line.

The best way to shop @ CVS when they run deals like this is to break up your purchases. You'll end up with a bunch of EBCs if you do it all in one transaction. Pay for 1/2 your stuff, let the ECBs print, then do another transaction and use the ECBs you just earned to help pay for the rest of your stuff.

Register rewards are like coupons that you use toward your NEXT purchase at Walgreens. If you have coupons for the items, they can turn out to be moneymakers. The register reward coupons are normally only valid for 2 weeks from the date they are issued and you cannot buy certain things with them - like gift cards, dairy, stamps, cigarettes - etc. You can only buy 1 item per transaction and get the register rewards. So if you bought 2 items at one time, you would only get the register rewards for 1 of them. Some people like them - I don't.

I've started seeing the email come through about the bonus gift cards. So far I remember seeing gift card bonuses from DSW Shoes (buy $50 get $10) & Outback (buy $100 get $20).

I really have the best intentions of decorating early, but lately I never seem to do that.
