I tried at my local Target and they don't have the software installed to print the coupons. So it may be a YMMV thing - but mine is a big fat NO. I was not happy!

Does anyone have the Kodak ESP 5250 Wireless printer? Is it worth it? I got a flyer in the mail from them with some nice coupons! If you have a web-enabled smart phone you can text ZONE to 332211 to get the coupons sent to your phone, And they have already started advertising that Price matching is not valid for Thanksgiving day through the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Why don't you ask her to postpone gift giving until after the holidays? 1/2 off the day after Christmas will get you even further. Maybe suggest a New Year's celebration and exchange gifts then. I would explain that your financial situation will be slightly better in January than in December. Maybe she would understand?

I would call CVS ECB division to see if you buy the stuff this week if you can get the coupon to use later. If not - get a raincheck!

Depends on the company. I know for the game shipping was $7.00. I would guess that normal shipping charges apply to whatever you order - which could blow the deal depending on how much you are saving.

We always traveled when my kids were little. We lived in GA and our families lived in both NC and SC. I desperately wanted to stay home, but my ex would never cave. He finally did and it was so joyous to wake up Christmas morning in my own home! Even if you decide to do NYC for Christmas, who says you can't do the Santa thing? There are a few suite type hotels that will give you a separate sleeping area and then like a sitting area with a sleeper sofa. You can always bring your own mini tree to decorate on Christmas Eve or whenever you checkin. Then when the kids go to sleep, put out the cookies and milk, etc - shut them off in the bedroom and do what you normally do when they go to bed at home - lol.

wow - that's alot of money for gifts that aren't for YOUR kids! But I understand where you are coming from - my sister has 4 kids and I have 2. I wouldn't mention anything about not spending as much money on them as you have in the past - I would just do it. And if she says anything to you on Christmas day, I would gently remind her that the reason for the celebration is not to give gifts - but to rejoice that our saviour was born that day.

There was an article in our local paper last week about the Target coupon scam as well!

My stepdad is impossible to buy for because he just buys what he needs when he needs it. Sister and I were set to replace his grill because he said it was getting old then BAM he buys himself one! ugh
