I know this thread is old .. but I swear by my buckwheat hull pillow I currently have a total of 4 of them on my bed!! They last an average of 8 years.

I can tell I haven't been to CVS in a while. I have gotten CVS coupons almost every day for about 5 days now. And another coupon came in snail mail today!

Once you severely limit your calorie and nutrition intake - your body goes into starvation mode - which with most people means you actually won't lose any weight. It was hard for me to realize thru my nutritionist that you actually have to eat to lose weight. Of course it's a balance of protein, fiber, etc .. you can't eat lots of crap and lose weight. I found that eating 3 small meals and 3 smaller snacks a day worked best for me

I don't have a red card and I normally get the mailers. I did finally got the latest mailer, but no coupon on the back.

If you are replacing one make sure it was properly installed. Mine wasn't installed to code it is too close to the stove.

And I have just pretty much just stopped shopping all together! Saving for our big Europe trip this summer.

OMG .. why are over the range microwaves so expensive??? I know that Best Buy has some coupons out there right now for Reward Zone members, but when you are looking at something that will run like $150 - 10% off isn't much! I'd start shopping around for floor models or open box specials. My handle broke off about a year ago. Microwave still works - and now the handle has been put back on with duct tape about 3 times now. My kids will not let their friends into my kitchen anymore!

Definately something that I would ask Target corporate about. I would email them so that you have it in writing. TV's are so inexpensive now unless the floor model is like 75% off, I wouldn't buy it. But if you did, I would find out if the manufacturer's warranty was still in effect.

Cleaning out again today as our NHL hockey team is taking donations for the USO tonight.

My frugal February has now gone into March. I have taken stock in what I have at home and I am prepared for the second coming! I have donated tons of shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap and shower gel to my local homeless shelter.

it's back again this week. Same rules as before - $25 in grocery and drugstore merchandise with the Shop Your Way Rewards card.

I've been getting a bunch of coupons lately.. they vary from week to week. But I am participating in Frugal February .. so I am really watching what I buy.

It's back again this week - today is the last day. Same restrictions as before spend $25 in grocery & drug store, 5 coupons max.

Here's my advise on buying a used car .. make sure that you have not only a mechanic check it out but that you take it to a body shop to see if has any type of damage. I bought a car for DD18 last summer and I took it to the mechanic .. all checked out okay. The used car place showed me the CarFax, all seemed okay. Fast forward to November when she wrecked her car. Took it our body shop and turns out that the car had been in an accident and it was not reported to CarFax as they probably paid someone to make it look right. The car should have been totalled is what the body shop told me. Parts of the frame were being held together with zip ties. They told me if they could tell the car wasn't right just by looking at (before they took it apart!). The dealer says they use CarFax, and if it wasn't reported to CarFax, that's not their fault. And you might find that you can buy a new car for not much more than a used one. I know insurance rates are lower on newer cars than used. You can always donate your car to charity and take the tax write off. I'm guessing that it's not running if the motor exploded. Good luck!
