  1. I am excited to say that I found one of the dual digital frames (last one) at the Target across from Greenbriar Mall in Chesapeake for $34.74. I still would like more or the one a PP found for $18.00. I had to take on of my DS to work (car is dead!!) so I had about 2 hours to kill before work. Glad I went!!
  2. Making new friends Waiting for an open door Sharing the sale ads
  3. I am noticing if you go under sale and cotten and pick a style that the prices might change depending on the fabric design you choose. I have not tried all of them yet
  4. I have been watching those picture frames for weeks now, I even checked this mornign but they were still 50% then I wonder if I should run back in this evening. UGH I hate working sometimes!!
  5. I start making list and plans with each ad, I also watch online deals to see if they are beating the prices before BF. However I don't finalize anything until Thanksgiving night when I have the ads in hand.
  6. Wow Elena 398 you have a lot done!! I wish I was. Great Job!!
  7. Has anyone noticed if the digital frames, printers, or the HP camera w/photo printer have gone down to 75% yet?
  8. My mom, dad, son and daughter will be lurking here soon so I had better not say:secret:
  9. I just found out that my parents are going to be home for the next 4 months which means I will have them for Thanksgiving, BF, and Christmas. I am so excited!! Both my parents love to shop on BF so that will be two more to go. Plus they may have some friends visit from Bolivia so that would be 2 more.
  10. My kids would have been miserable out. Do you know anyone he can spend the night with and maybe they can bring him to you when he wakes up. Better yet if they are willing to trade babysitting with you, you will babysit for them for free to give whoever a day away too. If we were in line together it would not bother me he was there, I would just feel sorry for him having to be out so early.
  11. My cousin, mom, aunts and kids may call me and I might call them. However, they are in line somewhere else and looking through the ads for the 100th time as they wait. If they see something they forgot to put on my list for the store I am going to first they will call. We get what we can off the list, but nothing is definite.
  12. We went to a fall festival once and the kids had to dress up as food. We used poster board and made DS a small pizza. It was inexpensive too
  13. I agree with those whos suggest that layaway should be brought back. I would not even mind a huge restocking fee if you canceled your layaway. No rebates would be great too, I usually don't buy items that have them. Someone suggested having the hand stamped instead of tickets, I like that idea too
  14. I think it would help if the retailers would print the price matching policy for the store on the front cover of their Black Friday ad, and not just leave it up to the managers. This would help to keep things consitent. When an employee or a customer does not know the policy it would be a simple thing to show them the ad instead of waiting for the manager to be called.
  15. The margarita maker is on clearance at the target in Chesapeake VA, not sure of the price though. I like the mouse too!
  16. Thanks everyone, I think I will use the weekly ones if I am out that way but not burn the extra gas. Otherwise I will wait for the BF ad. I think that will have to be one of my stops for BF and may be my first one depending on the other deals.
  17. Try this series: Author: Lois Gladys Leppard: Title: Mandie There are quite of few books in this series. When I taught 4-6 grade in a small Christian school these were a favorite with the girls. I would also suggest craft ideas, such as scrapbooking or card making.
  18. Do you remember if the coupon for last year was 50% off the entire order or just one item? My DD and DIL both want stuff from there. I am trying to remember what coupon was out last year so I can shop on that one day and save gas or if I should be trying to get by there every week to use the coupons I get now.
  19. Suggestions: Son 15 almost 16: Digital Camera, tool set (he will driving soon), cologne, refrigerator for room, sports or gaming magazines, printer For the younger ones I would consider some of the new but also those that have been around a while: Neice 6 yrs old: Pink guitar by first act, easy bake oven, or the new cupcake maker that is out, pretty necklace and ring set, Leapster (pink) with games, puzzles, blocks, (my DD is playing with hers as I write) inexpensive or childs digital camera, polly pockets, or littlest pet shop. Nephew 4: Guitar by first act, tag reading system with books, pretend tools, lincoln logs or tinker toys, soccer set by FP, I like the idea about savings bonds too, or a savings account in their name with you as guardian and make deposits for them.
  20. Does Walgreens accept Riteaid coupons?? There is a $30.00 gift card for Rite Aid out now for a transfered prescription.
  21. I like the idea. I have taught mine that if the person is not there to see you open the gift and told thank you then you can call them or write them. My DH's brother send gifts some year and some they don't. We do the same depending on finances. Usually I send my Nephew a gift card simply because he gets more that way.
  22. DD20 gave me a list tonight. It has 20 things on it. Which is good because I share the list with three sets of grandparents plus with the brother or sister who draws her name.
  23. .On Christmas Eve we go to my parents church. The candelight service is usually singing and some poems and scripture reading. Then we go to the in-laws and open presents. I always fix them a stocking and I honestly think they like that more than the gifts. We take our time and have snack type foods. Then on Christmas morning we open stockings first. (Last year all the kids had those huge ones from the dollar tree packed full...this year I am going to do the super tiny ones with gift cards to favorite places for the older ones.. I going to tell them I washed them and they shrunk) After stockings we have a HUGE breakfast. Finally time to open presents which we do one person one present at a time. In the past it has taken the rest of the day to open gifts. I love seeing their faces even now. During the month of Dec we will be shoppping, wrapping and baking cookies and making candy. We will also look for opportunities to help someone less fortunate to have a Merry Christmas.
