I am sure you are on a budget, but could you do a stocking for them. I know Targets Dollar spot is 50% today and some of the trial size shampoos and things are marked down, also school supplies (pens, pencils,notepads, etc could be used and Candy is a must. The dinner is a great idea, and foods like chili, soup, or spaghetti are inexpensive for large groups but filing.

School stuff here is still 30% to maybe because school did not start for most till after Labor day. Grill covers still 30% too.

DS bundles, digital camera, GPS, tv series DVD, and Blu-rays, dinnerware, wii games, x-box 360 games, printer that has inexpensive ink refills, board games, and a whole lot more.

I have used the trunk of my car before. My parents house is within 30 minutes from us and since they are out of the states I am using their closet.

Last year my DD made ornaments (craft kits at Michaels) for her older brothers and their wive's trees. We also made cookies and candy to give them. (They are close enough to come by but don't live with us plus other obligations) Maybe your older ones can send a special book or stuffed animal to the younger ones to "sleep with" since they won't be there. My DD also likes to watch all the old videos so she can see the older kids when they were little.

As our family expands and my kids need to do in-laws and all, we have talked about doing this too. I just want a day. It may not start this year but the kids are open to it.

I love to more about it to. How big is it. My DD is a large 5 year old so size is impportant but she loves Barbie so I am hoping.

It will be me. I cook a huge dinner and then there is no cooking until the Monday after. There is always loads of leftovers. I want to invite all my kids, their spouses and the spouses parents and siblings. I try to plan ahead so I have all the menu items on hand. I use disposable dishes and pans as much as possible (not very green but I don't have a dishwasher and I don't do it all the time) I think if everyone comes I would have around 20 people. I need to buy some of those folding tables!!!

I thought the same thing about the dog and books. DD5 loves the Biscuit books. She has been reading them to me this week to earn a kids meal from Chick Fil-a through her school. She has not seen the dog out yet. I want to see the dino though

I like Sundaysavers.com too for the sale ads sometimes. But usually I just go to the stores website and look at the ad under the correct zipcode.

When I read on here about the grills I was excited. I wanted to get DS one so I thought I would check on my home. I found the last one $24.98!! YEAH:D Now the accessories and grill cover were still only 30% but I am going to keep checking on those too.

I always hope for the best!! I have a tighter budget this year so I am looking now for deals just in case. I have to admit I have to be pretty sure I am getting it cheaper now than waiting for BF before I will buy. (I am still excited about the Leapster games I got today thanks to another GD member)

I am on a lot. I even keep it on at work but not just for the ads. There are many great deals to be found on here. If you have kids you will be excited when the big Amazon.com toy sale starts. I also keep up with the Target clearance and many other online deals.

I got one last year on BF there is not a big price drop but there is usually a bundle. If your DD wants a certain color I would probably buy now. If color doesn't matter then getting the game with the DS is nice. I got DS a gold Zelda bundle last year. This year DIL and SIL both want one so I will help find them one.
