  1. I heard on the radio that Starbucks and Ben and Jerrys changed. You get it free if you voted or not. Some law about giving things to people to get them to vote or not vote, so they decided to just give whatever they are giving to anyone.
  2. Have us quess your (Brad's) favorite holiday song, movie, and or cookie.
  3. Bath and Body Works has their handsoap for $3.00. I am doing those and some Yankee candles I picked up with a coupon for some friends.
  4. LKS18TMN is the free shipping code Patty gave in the thread about the jackets from Footlocker. Try and see if it will work on the slippers.
  5. My parents when in Bolivia have, my in-laws in Nevada do too. They(in-laws) only see the kids once a year, so they don't know what to get. Plus it saves all that shipping. My other set of in-laws get a list and she knows that I can help her get better prices. She always says this is what we want to get where should I go get it?? If it is a BF sale and I am going to be able to get her a better deal I will ad it to my list. Other relatives usually do some sort of gift card if they do anything. I have a DS in Wisconsin this year. I told him I could get him more if I don't have to pay shipping. I have some money for Amazon that I will use. This board is great for Kohls free shipping codes, and other stores offer it as well sometimes.

    Associate Q&A's

RLP, my DS wants to buy a ring for his girlfriend and was looking at Kohls. I have told him to wait for BF because I think he will get a better deal. Did I give good advice based on past BFs.
  7. The books in the store does not have the $10 off $100 or the $10 gift card for spending $75.00 I did not buy the dollhouse last night because 1)DD decided she needed to be with mom, and 2) I forgot my coupons.
  8. Thank you for posting this. I will print a copy if needed when I see the rest of the ads just in case. I did some price matching a few years ago with the PSP and it worked fine.
  9. This thread is making think I should go home from work and clean DD's room again, UGH!!

    TRU Prices

The dollhouse I want for DD5 are different brands between the two but extremely similar in make. TRU is $10 dollars higher but I have $10.00 off if you spend $100. The other things I want to get will be over $75.00 so I get a $10.00 gift card for that. So if I buy the extra furniture and a few other things first I will get the dollhouse $10.00 cheaper than at Walmart. (did that make sense??)
  11. Some stores have the policy that the person at the register loses the money out of their PR if it is over a certain amount, so I would have to go back in, actually I would go back in anyway but thinking about the person would help me in case I was tempted to keep walking. To answer you question it would be stealing.
  12. We do not have a lot of room for toys, it was worse when the others were little though (I thought for a while that I lived in a toy store) I give some of her good used outgrown it toys to our church nursery, others to local thrift stores. Anything broken or not easily cleaned up I usually toss. If I need to really weed things out DD5 cannot be around, because she "still loves it". When I buy something the first thing I think of is where will I put it? The dollhouse will be going in the living room.
  13. I remember when the oldest 5 were little and we had to get to my grandma's house around 6 in the morning (I had to help cook) We only alowed the kids to have their stockings before we left. We were able to come home after her house though and the kids could open their gifts. Grandma is gone now, but the kids still want the big breakfast of course now the time is later (even my extended family will call to ask me when to come over). I am sure this will all change when they have kids of their own. I think I will be the one going from house to house when that happens.

    Home Depot

If they have ladders on BF I might swing by depends on the price and my budget.
  15. I agree with PPs. I also think the Tomtom and other GPS systems are good deals. I want to go through it better but I know I want the jeans for the men in my family and the boots for DD, as well as some other items.
  16. I would like this recipe (fruit bread). We make a huge breakfast but that french toast casserole might have to added in. Here we do eggs fried and scrambles, hashbrowns, pancakes or waffles, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, and fried fatback, we also do fried apples. I know I am forgetting some stuff.
  17. I like the ad. I guess it depends on what you are looking for. I like the kodak camera but I am still hoping for a similar one but about 10 dollars less. There are boots for DD5 that are 14.99 and jeans for the older boys for 9.99. I also like the $10.00 off $50 coupon. Avacum is also on the list, but it really depends on the other ads and reviews. My mom likes the washer and dryer. We are both disappointed with the DS bundle and are hoping for a better price from Circuit City like last year. I don't think it will be my first stop but I will be there.

    little sister

    I like this idea too.
  19. Our Walmart is lousy at clearance, but I will check first chance I get.
  20. I went in to get the knex for DD and twwo more sets for friends who heard i was going that way. My parents and DD were with me but Grandpa kept her occupied while I looked around. I am working out my purchase for next week so I can use the $10 dollar gift card when you spend $100 (the dollhouse is $99.99) from the front of the book and get a $1o. dollar card for spending $75.00 (back of the book)
  21. I was talking to an employee in one of my favorite BF stores and she told me that she always looks at the ad when it comes in but that the store had not received it this year yet. She was hoping it would be soon. (I'll make sure I stop and chat again)
  22. Is this an actual B&M store or is it online??

    The teens

A small dorm refrigerator, sheets, bedspread, matress pad, towels, iron, laundry bag or basket.
  24. I went yesterday and got a Hamilton Beach blender for 9 something and a Black and Decker coffee pot for 7 something. (that might be reversed in price??) I wanted the moon sand that is on clearance, but I want it for 75% off and it is still 50% here!! Oh well maybe this weekend. If I can sneak away from DD.
  25. On Christmas morning the kids at home get up to one unwrappeed gift and a stocking. They are allowed to enjoy that while I fix Christmas breakfast and watch them and see their excitement. After breakfast we open gifts one gift per person at one time. We choose one person to be the gift giver and he or she gets the gifts from under the tree. We usually go around the room. I love for it to last all day!! Last year we started about 10:00 and finished around 3:30!! When everyone has opened one gift the gift admired by all and the givers have been thanked, the gift is taken to a designated spot, and paper is put in a trash bag. then we do it again and again and etc.... We do not cook a Christmas dinner (breakfast is huge) but we do stop to enjoy ham rolls, crackers, cheese, cookies, etc... This year I plan for DD5's dollhouse to be out and for a family of Barbies to be inside. The other kids (that still live at home) will only have their stockings out and the married ones will get theirs when they come to the house (some will be there for breakfast and others will come later) Then when everything has been opened everyone usually goes to look at all their stuff and enjoy it again and to relook at what others got again as well. I also hand out needed batteries after it all opened. Mom and I make a list of what is needed as we wrap to make sure we have the right ones on hand.
