  1. Okay, gotta go to Dollar Tree and find this retro snowflake/dot paper now! Thanks!
  2. I bought paper on clearance at Target last year. It is white with big red dots! I LOVE it! One year I bought this REALLY cute paper at Hobby Lobby. I wonder if anyone else around here bought some. It looked like denim and had reindeer on it (and I think there were other patterns). It had a somewhat waxy feel to it and the tape would NOT stick! The presents would pop open
  3. Thanks for posting! I need to set the DVR as well! YEAH CHRISTMAS!!
  4. Okay, this is going to sound bad... but I have never had a problem PMing at Walmart either. It is usually just on movies, but I think I also want that 9.99 electric griddle that Kohl's has on sale. I've found that if you go to a younger cashier, they never ask to see an ad and just take my word (not that I am trying to screw them over or anything!).
  5. That is freaking ridiculous. In that case, I demand they no longer call it a "White Sale"!
  6. For the younger kids, you could make some homemade playdoh and put it into cute containers. You can color it whatever color you want, or scent it, using food coloring or extracts. It is sooo easy to make and I think it is easier to work with/better quality than the store-bought stuff. If you want the recipe, just PM me :)
  7. Well, in your situation it is a little different... 1 child to 3 cousins. In our family, we used to buy for ALL. Between my husband's sisters and brother, plus our 2 girls, there are 10 kids. The last 3 or 4 years, we have just drawn names. Each kids name gets put in a hat, and each kid gets to draw 1 to buy for. (It can't be one of their siblings). So if you have two kids, you buy two presents... and you give what you get, I guess. We try to spend around $20/kid usually.
  8. Hi all! I'd like to compile a list of stores that carry Zhu Zhu Pets/accessories at RETAIL prices. I know there have been some reports of people finding them in "odd" places, like Kroger, museum gift shops (though at an increased price, like everything in a gift shop!), and the like. I will start the list. Personally, I have only found them at Walmart, Target, and Shopko.
  9. Not a teacher... but what about a Snuggie?? Everyone loves Snuggie! LOL
  10. Actually, it is this week's ad! I think it starts Thursday, but our Aldi usually starts putting the stuff out on Wednesday :-) This is what is listed: Bakugan Booster Pack: Includes one action figure and one Metal Gate Card- 3.99 Bakugan Battle Pack: Includes 6 action figures, Metal Gate Cards and Special Ability Cards- 16.99 Bakugan 7 in 1 Maxus Drago: Includes 7 figures that combine into the Maxus Drago 29.99
  11. Okay, so I don't even KNOW what Bakugan is (a toy, a game??), but I know it is popular with the boys. I just saw some of the stuff in Aldi's ad this week. You can see it online here: http://aldi.us/index_ENU_HTML.htm

    Pets and Christmas

My little morkie-boy will be a year old in December, and I have been planning on buying him a Snuggie! I hope to get myself one on BF :)
  13. I understand why people do it... sometimes you just don't have any other option if BF is imperative for you to shop within your Christmas budget. But I have been at Walmart at 4 a.m., waiting, and have seen the very small children and babies. I wonder how cranky they are later on! Mostly I worry about their safety. I saw a newborn in their car carrier, and I would hate to see a baby get knocked out of a cart by a crazy shopping-mob. Luckily, I have never had to resort to taking mine.
