  1. Walmart. Kmart for anything I can't price match at Walmart. And Gamestop.
  2. I seriously had the -best- time with the Thanksgiving evening sales last year, but I like that Gamestop waits til Friday. It makes it easier for me since we usually hit them up for B2G1F preowned games.
  3. I'll carry debit, my husband will carry cash. I have rheumatoid disease and its difficult for me to manipulate cash to count it out and put it back. I drop things. Its just not a good idea. lol
  4. I've never had any issues with people being rude.
  5. It will not have all of the old maps, only Der Riese from World at War's nazi zombies mode. And you will need to buy either the Juggernog edition, Hardened edition, or the Deluxe Digital edition. Personal opinion? Not worth an extra $20 or more for just a single map. Chances are good it will be released with later DLC at a lower price, anyway.
  6. I use Ibotta and Savings Catcher, app wise. I also use Shop Your Way from Kmart. I've bought my 2 year old's entire winter wardrobe, including shoes, for $13.01 courtesy of reward/surprise points through SYW.
  7. Paintsville, KY, by any chance?
  8. I use SlingTV and love it. We were paying $130 a month for basic cable through our local co-op. After getting a letter that they were raising our bill $13 more a month for local channels I got a little fed up with it. We haven an xbox one, and there's a SlingTV App. We signed up for the 30 day free trial (though these days its been knocked down to a 14 day trial) for Basic SlingTV lineup, HBO, and Kids Extra. The total was ~$45 a month. After the trial we dropped HBO and just kept kids extra. Our current bill for SlingTV is ~$26 a month after tax. It has all the channels we watch regularly (HGTV, Food Network, AMC, CNN, Disney Jr) streaming live with On Demand content to boot. We got an inexpensive antenna ($30) so we can pick up local channels and the CW.
  9. They've cut back our electronics department, as well. Also removed most games from their website. However, they just changed our store's hours to be 24/7.
  10. While its not likely there will be any particularly price drops on Xbox One consoles during the holiday season, a lot of retailers will offer gift cards and game/controller bundle incentives.
  11. We got the 32 inch Emerson for $98 from Walmart last year for our girls' room. Still a great little TV and going strong! Walmart has a 50 inch 4K Hisense for $598 that we are staring down pretty hard. We're considering getting it as an upgrade for the living room (as a 'family' gift) and then putting the 42inch Hisense we currently have in here back in our bedroom. If its on sale for Black Friday, by any crazy chance (I'm not holding my breath!) then it could become a 'must grab'.
  12. I'm getting a later start than usual this year after having to buy a new van when our truck bit the dust. There are some good clearance deals right now, however, on toys and I'm considering throwing a few things in Layaway next payday.
  13. Our local walmart was part of a pilot program where they actually had year round layaway, starting back around June.. The only thing that couldn't be put on layaway was groceries. lol Everything else was a go. There were no limitations on pricing or anything. It's been really nice having layaway available again.
  14. My oldest (11) is wanting a Chromebook or an inexpensive windows laptop. They use Chromebooks at school, but there's not enough of them to go around so they're only allowed access to them for 9 weeks. She got assigned the first 9 weeks, so she won't have access to one at school for the remainder of the school year. The two younger girls (8 and 2) are in love with the furreal friends unicorn.
  15. That turned out to not be entirely true at my store. They gave out the wrist bands for the 8pm TVs around 5:30. My husband was able to get one because we'd already showed up early just to be safe.
  16. I hadn't seen your post, but this was our plan yesterday, as well. lol We got to walmart at 4 and my husband was 10th in line for the $98 tv that didn't go on sale until 8. He was able to get his wristband while I shopped and then help me with check out. We left, picked up the girls from my MILs and then he went back to the store alone at 8 to pick up our tv. No muss, no fuss!

    $98 32 inch TV

Ended up being Emerson here, too. We had a 32 inch emerson several years ago that had great picture quality and everything, but just over a year after buying it the power supply actually shorted out and melted the casing. We were okay with buying another Emerson, especially for the $100 price tag (We paid nearly $400 or so for the one that we go many moons ago. Ah, how things have changed. lol) but my husband did opt to add the $8 to it for a 2 year warranty. Just to be safe. lol
  18. I managed to get most of what I was after the last week during various pre-BF sales. From Kmart I picked up the Monster High Catacombs doll house ($49 after SYW), Vtech alphabet activity cube ($29 after SYW), Lego Friends jungle playset (Free after SYW), Hungry Hungry Hippos & Battleship ($10 combined total after sales and SYW). From Amazon I picked up a few Monster High dolls during their 50% off lightening sale. From Walmart I grabbed the $47 Nikon camera and $25 Chromecast online last night. Also picked up a wooden kitchen set on sale for $85 down from $115 for my youngest, and price matched Equestria Girls dolls for $7.92 and Mouse Trap for $8.80. Tonight at walmart we arrived at 4pm with hopes of getting a $98 32 inch TV. My husband and I decided to split.. I would go wait by the toys and he would try to get the TV. I stood by the step 2 wagon for 2 hours, and as I'm finally being allowed to put one in my cart a woman walks up and tried to take it out of my hands. That's the first time I've ever had someone do that to me. I got the wagon in my cart and then headed back up the aisle to the $5 monster high dolls where I watched a man and a woman block off the display and then pick up every. single. doll and put them in a cart. I zig zagged my way through for some cheap pajamas, picked up some play doh and tinkerbell dolls in the process and then I saw a guy with the plush Lambie from Doc McStuffins in his cart. I kind of sank, because I'd forgotten all about it and was planning to get it for my youngest for her birthday next month. I asked him where he'd got it and he pointed me back to the paint department. As I inched back that way, I could see the box with just one more Lambie left in it. I asked the lady ahead of me if she could help reach one back to me, but she couldn't get it, either. The people in front of her handed it back to her, and she passed it back to me. Birthday saved! As I made my way to check out I finally caught back up with my husband who showed me he had the almighty wristband for the $98 TV. We were standing in a checkout lane and I was telling him about what happened with the Monster High dolls and the lady beside of us taps him on the shoulder and hands him one while saying she had saw two left at the very bottom of the display and had picked up one as a "just in case I need a cheap gift later" kind of purchase, but that we could have it instead. Lo and behold, it was even the specific character doll we were looking for. We checked out, and DH brought me home to relieve my poor MIL of kid duty while he went back to pick up our TV. Still have to go to Kmart in the morning for B1G1F laugh and learn toys, and DH is heading to Tractor Supply for their $99 chainsaw. After that we are DONE!
  19. While finalizing my plans for tomorrow I noticed that some of the items in the ad posted to the Walmart website now have a little circle on them that say "Extra Special Gift". When you click the item in the ad for details, it says "This item is an Extra Special Gift. Check out the how-to video for information on how you can avoid the long lines. Visit page 6 for more information." However, there's no "how to" video that I can find, nor any information if I skip back to page 6 of the ad. Anyone know anything about this? ETA, Nevermind, I found the 'how to' video when I went to their YouTube channel. That said, for anyone else interested, it appears that they're doing the items marked with "extra special gift" at 6 AND at 8, now, instead of just at 8 like originally planned. You can line up 2 hours in advance for a wristband. Here's the video. http://youtu.be/qk_maugAWYQ?list=PLs6zAwIMDe3PEOzQ_4wcqHReLUZCZA76q
  20. I activated my free trial to use for BF sales this week and they are holding $1.00 out on my card, but that's all so far.

    $98 32 inch TV

The ad says brand varies by store, but I do agree that Emerson or Element seems to be the most likely brand options.
  22. I found the equestria girl dolls for $7.92 (a few cents less than BF price) and the mouse trap game for $8.90 (just a few cents higher than BF price) last night and had them price matched while my husband was at Walmart. Good thing, too. They're back to regular prices this morning.

    Store Pick-Up

Not everything is kept at the same warehouse. This is why not everything you order comes at the same time every time. Generally, items that are at the same warehouse together ships together. So if Items A, C, and E are at Warehouse 1, and Item B is at Warehouse 2, and Items D and F are at Warehouse 3 then A, C & E will ship and arrive together, B will ship and arrive at another time, and D & F will ship together and arrive at yet a 3rd time.
  24. PeggLe. PeggLe. Not peggie. PeggLe. Sorry, as a gamer and avid Peggle player.. that was eating me up.
