My son figured it out when he was nine, he heard it from some friends at school. I deny it though. I love being Santa. I'll always have presents from Santa under my tree. My daughter is nine now, she still believes. My son is itching to tell her just to be mean but he won't. Atleast I hope he won't ...'cause Santa's watching.

Alot of the media around here is discouraging WalMart because they aren't wishing people Merry Christmas instead it's Happy Holidays. From what I hear it wouldn't be so bad except if you go on there Website and type in Hanukah (not sure of the spelling) or Kwanza several items pop up. But if you type in Christmas you get a message stating that you've been redirected to their "Holiday" pages. The Christian groups are upset about that and the media - especially Bill Cunningham on 700 WLW is upset about it. I haven't checked it to see if they've changed it. .

My Jo-Ann has a Black Friday sale. This year they have also started the unadvertised sale items. I usually hit Jo-Ann late in the day though because there is usually still a pretty good selection and if there is anything I really want than I just use my coupon earlier in the month to get it.

Ohio's tax depends on what county you are buying in. In my county, Miami, it's 6.5% but where the big stores are like BB it's 7%

I completely missed the boat on this last year. Heck I only saw this thing for the first time a few weeks ago and thought for sure it would be the hot toy this year. Never mind that. I've been doing some searching and the best that I've been able to find is around $80. I checked the forums for last year and found that they were available for around $70 shipped. So I'm shooting for that number. If anyone runs across a deal please let me know. Thanks a lot!

I guess that it really depends on what you are looking for. Personally I've found a few deals that I believe are worth waiting in line for. I wouldn't go so far as to say that they are just trying to move the slow sellers because even a great price isn't gonna make me buy something that I didn't already want.

I absolutely use a spreadsheet. Although right now I have to save it to a floppy and carry it with me because we have a shared computer at home, but maybe by next year I'll have a new laptop and the kids will each have a new computer if Walmart and Best Buy work out for me.

I checked the Gateway Celeron M360 laptop online and it was the same sale price as for BF but they were sold out. The Toshiba laptop is not showing up online.

I like shopping JCPenney all year. They have a nice selection for the whole family. If you get on their mailing list they will send you advance warnings of sales and coupons. I've received several $10 of $10 this year. I'll hit Penney's on BF, I don't know when yet because I probably won't completely plan my day until Thanksgiving nite.

I need to stop driving the 20 minutes to the store to find out. I've been to Walmart 3 times in the last week.

On the Eve on Dec. 5 every year my children leave a list for St. Nick to pick up in their stocking. In the morning they awake to find candy. Does anyone else follow this tradition?

I wrap a few things, then I also like to have something cute peaking out. A candied sucker or a small stuffed toy. The stockings aren't filled until Santa comes anyway so I'm not worried about anyone peaking.

The only time I've been to Kmart on Thanksgiving was when the kitchen sink pipes burst and company was coming in 6 hours. I think we went to Kmart three times that morning.

I believe that by adding the wireless card you added another $50 and $50 shipping. So the dell is more than the ones at CompUSA and WalMart. Other than that I haven't compared the specs with the Dell because the pricing was different. But Hey! Congrats on your purchase.
