Dickies work socks for my DH DVDS (though we have last year's still in the packaging lol) Pillows at Wal-Mart Wrangler jeans for DH but probably not this year, he's not been liking the fit. PJ pants for me, PJ's for DS SD cards/flash drives
-
DS isn't quite two yet but he's getting around 10 gifts plus stocking. I've spent around $115 on everything. DH wants to do read, want, need, wear but I know I couldn't stick to it. Growing up, 5-15 gifts each counting Santa. DH's family it was 2-5 but often big stuff.

When we're done house building (next year!) I plan on getting the PW set. If it's available on BF next year I'm going to try for it but that section was NUTS at my Wal-Mart last year. It was crazier then toys and electronics apparently. I hightailed myself away when I saw how many people were waiting around the pots and pans. There were 40 sets and well over 100 people waiting, some since noon or earlier.

Really cool card game for 5 years+ and my niece didn't mind playing with her brother even though she was 11ish. Ocean food chain game where whoever has the higher creature on the food chain 'chomps' the others. https://www.amazon.com/Gamewright-217-Chomp/dp/B00005JS94/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1540387905&sr=8-10&keywords=food+chain+card+game

All the old cartoons. Santa Claus is Coming to Town has always been my favorite which is funny because my family growing up couldn't stand it! Then Grinch and Frosty tie. Rudolph always made me sad, they were so mean to him. I like the sappy Hallmark ones but no cable and don't have one of the subscription services to watch it so I have to settle for what I find at Dollar General in the Christmas movie bin.

Got my shirt yesterday! My dad who can't stand Black Friday actually laughed at the back! Thanks Brad! Made my day.
-
Yah! I'd love getting my shirt a little earlier!

1. Hmm, I thought that was cheaper? Did I go to the wrong store? 2. Target employees watching the mob of unruly shoppers get rained on. " We'll open the door in another hour! " 3. "And you get a game! And you get a game! And you all get a game!!!!"

16 people of my husband's family draws names from the siblings again. Budget is around $400-$500. I've been buying all year and don't keep super close track of how much I've spent aside from making sure it's not crazy so maybe a smidge more.
-
Yah! First ad released! My husband will be pleased. Once I let him look anyway. Heeheehee.

The little 18 inch tree? It's sadder looking then a Charlie Brown tree! I need to get some of the garland ties and see if I can cover all the plastic that's showing. DS liked it though I'd bought it for my Sunday School classroom. May have to get another one even if they are cheap looking lol. Don't think he'll give up HIS Christmas tree. Toddlers :-P Happy October everyone! Come on ads!!!

Ancestry kits for $50-60. Kindle Fire in the $30 range. Can't remember the brand but I got DH a bunch of flannel shirts for either $8 or $10 each at JcPenneys last year or the year before and he needs new shirts. We both really liked those, good quality. Just needs a different size.

It's coming quick! What's your Black Friday budget for this year?
MariahA replied to magickallight's topic in 2018
Black Friday budget is maybe $100, probably less unless I end up get my husband lots of clothes at Bass Pro or Wal-Mart. I've been buying since February and have spent around $150. Expect to spend another $150 or so, $200 if I do Ancestry kits for my MIL and FIL. -
It actually felt like Autumn today!!! 65 today, into the 50s tonight. Back to 80 by Saturday but then it's supposed to go back down! I spent the day switching my son's summer clothes out for fall/winter. I tried to not overbuy but he ended up with six pairs of overalls. Need to do mine tomorrow after church.
