  1. Yippee!!! Thanks Brad! Congrats to the other winners!
  2. I finally found wrapping paper at Dollar General last week, other then that I've only seen paper at Hobby Lobby. Our Walmart's are still putting stuff out but I don't think they'll have wrapping stuff til after Halloween, at least not the ones I go to. I have plenty of most things from 90% after Christmas clearance but I forgot to buy a roll of Santa paper.
  3. Could be interesting. I really miss TRU but I don't think they'll ever be like they were before, number of stores wise.
  4. If we had this store I'd be in so much trouble. I won't even let myself look at the website. My son was looking over my shoulder and drooling over the Ertl toys.
  5. Got my shopping bags today! Good timing because I'm going to go through my old ones and replace some.
  6. The towels and the pillows cause a fight almost every year at this one. I heard there was an actual pillowfight a few years ago. Otherwise it's pretty tame expect for the year of the Hatchimal.
  7. And a few years later, I got shoved into a movie display and got my arm stuck. Thanks 6'3 guy in a dirty tank top, trying to arm sweep all the movies
  8. I started BF shopping when I was 13 or 14, and I remember the very first time we went it was still when the stores opened at 4am. My mom and I blasted Christmas music driving to Walmart where we met my sister and her little girl. Mom kept the cart with sleeping two year old, we went for $10 puffer coats and she slept on the pile of them.
  9. Happy October! We've got another day or two of warm weather and then we should be dropping to the 60-70s for highs! Come on fall!
  10. Yay! Sent the PM! And I'll post something tomorrow.
  11. I don't have any "must have" currently, which is strange. I'm boring this year, I want the Dickies work socks to still be $4 a pack at Walmart! My DH just opened the last pack from last year in August. And kids movies at Walmart.
  12. Re: weather- It was fall like for a couple days but we'll be back to upper 80's with med-high humidity starting tomorrow. The weather man is saying the first two weeks of October are trending the same. I'm ready to break out the jeans, boots, and comfy cardigans already!
  13. Around $200-$250, preferably closer to $150 but I try to budget extra just in case. I mostly buy household stuff, DVDs, stock my husband up on socks at Walmart
  14. My BF list is small this year. I need new sheets and pillows which will be Walmart. Need to restock on Bath and Body Works bodywashes and hand-sanitzer. And I want to get the handful of Disney movies my DS watches since they've either already been pulled from Netflix or will soon. It's cheaper to buy the handful we watch over getting Disney's streaming service. I'm sure there will be something else once the ads start releasing. I'm still excited, but it'll be a smaller year. We're in the middle of building a house and I'm decluttering. Being a lot more intentful with where our money goes right now.
  15. I start with fall decor around this time each year. Halloween is not my thing, so aside from a JackoLantern and switching the window clings I just do Fall.
  16. I already wrapped most of the Christmas presents. My 2 year old kept finding things and wanting it. He won't unwrap without me starting it so it works this year. Turned on Christmas music and wrapped for two hours. I stick a sticky note on the bottom with either what's in it or when I have older kids I'll number them instead and have it on my master gift list. And I do fabric bows, add those when I'm ready to start putting presents under the tree once we have it up.
  17. Some neat stuff but not overly impressed. But my kid is 2 and couldn't care less about the "it" toys. I do wonder if any of those will be Tickle Me Elmo, Hatchimal level of crazy inducing?
  18. Here for August. I hope I didn't forget to do July
  19. My Prime Day packages are rolling in. I spent under $100 and very happy with what I got. Pantry code and coupons stacked an got 2 jumbo packs of TP, 3 45-count trash bags, a two pack of jumbo Clorox wipes. $8 for all that, it was fun opening that box.
  20. I've only got two shirts. :'( I lurked for years before I actually started commenting or entering contests.
