  1. And I'm currently trying to make a new tradition, wearing a Gottadeal shirt, planning my Dollar General run. I'm going to be there at opening even though I don't "have" to be. My husband's off so I could go any time. But I enjoy being able to say I was the first shopper at a store. And only have to be there 5-10 minutes ahead of time. It's usually one other crazy shopper
  2. I know it's gone for me. Two small children who wouldn't handle going shopping with Mommy all day well
  3. I only wanted 4 things, got it all but the kid pajamas that are sold out. I'll check it again later but not worried, they were a $5 filler gift for the baby since he's decided Baby Shark is awesome.
  4. Nothing super stood out to me, aside from the mix and match toy sale for buy one get one half off. But it looked like a decent ad!
  5. There's my new sheets and pillows! My husband is off for Black Friday this year so I might actually go in store! After getting the pillows online anyway. The 3 wheel scooter for $15 is a good price. My 4 year old is needing a new one but I don't know if I'll actually do it now or wait for his birthday. Bopeep, I'd spend the $13 and sign up for Walmart+ if you're needing two Switches.
  6. I'll try to actually stick around this year. Here for November at least!
  7. Photo 1- ugh, mom said look at movies and she'd be right back after she found more Pioneer Woman stuff and that was 2 hours ago! Photo 2- What- Walmart cancelled my stuff for shipping, now I have to go there too!?! Photo 3- What happened to my deer stand? Guys what'd you do????
  8. And trying to find stocking stuffers for people on Amazon, I saw a lot of stuff saying November/December delivery because it's OOS. Target's having toys going in and out of stock like crazy, and nothing that you'd think would be a hot item. I'm talking like cheaper RC cars, puzzles, Little People, etc. Another group I'm in, ordered Advent calendars and they keep getting delayed more and more. Makes me glad I grabbed ours over the summer during a Amazon warehouse sale.
  9. My mom stopped to grab a few things at a local grocery store and said they'd just got in turkeys- the cheapest was over $30! She didn't grab it because she wasn't sure if she was hosting Thanksgiving or not this year but the sticker shock is real.
  10. I've been sitting on my last few my kids purchases and it bit me in the behind. My oldest's Monster Truck went OOS at Target so I had a momentary panic and then found it from Walmart. The Walmart one will be here mid next week, whew. As for the other shortages, I've still been able to get our usual groceries for pickup, with minor substitutions. Haven't tried for our turkey or ham yet though, need to make room in the chest freezer but hard to when I'm trying to stockpile chicken nuggets, frozen sweet potatoes (both autistic child's favorite preferred freezer foods) and our basic groceries. I was seriously afraid March-April 2020 about him not having his foods and going on a food strike so trying to avoid that if the shelves get wiped again.
  11. The year my sister scored a Hatchimal was pretty epic, she has us guarding it in the cart
  12. As usual, the $5/$10 toys- specifically the figurine sets and maybe the giant blind bag- and cheap towels will get me to deal with a glitchy Walmart app for the first event. 2nd ad was a total bust for me unless the online movie selection is surprisingly good. I'm not optimistic about their site handling the load that starting earlier in the day will bring. It's bad enough when the sales started in the late evening; starting at 7pm ET/ + members at 3pm, I predict extra traffic and a slow, unpleasant shopping experience. I hope I'm wrong but the year I was up til 2am arguing with that site trying to out with a mattress in a box left me scarred/cynical.
  13. I'm hoping Walmart will have the usual $5ish dollar pillows- those are my favorite pillows. And if they have a similar style frame to the one I got a few years ago would be amazing. We're hoping to be moving Black Friday weekend so I'm not really planning on shopping besides a handful of basics.
  14. WowWee Toddler Playground – Pop2Play Indoor Slide for Kids – Durable Eco-Friendly Foldaway Cardboard Slide (Sunny) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08P3VPV6X/ For little kids in apartments/small homes. Cardboard pop to play slide that folds flat, holds 50 pounds. I'm actually tempted to get it for my kids.
  15. Little Tikes Cozy Pumper-Grey, Multicolor, 14inx15inx17-1/2in https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0711XCB27/ To go with the Crazy Coupe/ride on toys this Christmas! My husband is thinking about making a wooden one, we'll see if he actually does.
  16. My 1 year old boy loves Little People sets, especially the vehicles with person. There's the kind without noise (around $5ish, vehicle about the size of my palm with a Little People figure) or the ones that light up/sing ($10-$20 with 1-2 figurines, larger, about a foot long) If you're budget is a little higher, the Little People barn is a daily play item, $35ish. ABC wooden blocks, Green Toys vehicles/wagon, Peek a Flap books (very sturdy lift the flap books, lots of topics. Peek a MOO!! Is a favorite.) Push toys like the Fisher Price corn popper- my kiddo wants a duck push toy that quacks, I'm grabbing it next time I'm in Walmart or making a Walmart order.
  17. I want Dickies work socks, the mini trampoline, and pillows. Man my list is little this year. I'm mostly done though and avoiding stores, hopefully it's all online!
  18. I'm here for February. I managed to rip one of my Gottadeal shopping bags already
  19. Hi for January, hope everyone had happy holidays! It went so fast this year but my little boy was so much more into it this year!
  20. Done shopping, done wrapping, now for the cleaning.
  21. Happy December! Need something for my dad and I'm done shopping! He's getting a Barnes and Noble gift card and dark chocolate.
  22. No one's commented yet?! Guess I'll be first since I'm already done.
  23. And now the high is 39 and lots of rain on Thanksgiving evening.
