  1. I think I saw something on Facebook but wasn't planning on going to the city, didn't pay it much attention. Hope you find it!
  2. Rubbermaid and maybe men's jeans is it for me from this one.
  3. I mostly see the car inflatables in the Christmas parades, not day to day really.ETA- my husband suggested the carpool lane
  4. I might grab another copy of Moana as much as the kids watch it but otherwise sitting it out. I need men's work socks and new pillows! Tires would have been good but my husband won't buy Goodyear and the other brand the size we need isn't included
  5. Did it do free pickup under $35 for anyone else who's NOT a Walmart+ member? Messed with me because I'm half afraid they'll add a pickup fee on Wednesday but it wouldn't let me choose shipping for any of the kids clothes I was ordering, even though it said they were available for shipping. I wasn't wanting to do pickup but I had to go to town Wednesday anyway so it works. $22 for kid socks, underwear, and a new Connect 4 game.
  6. Do you like cooking/baking? Baskets of homemade treats for everyone? IOU coupons for babysitting or one family meal of their choice? Which could add up for 8 families but would be spread out more
  7. And another place I'll probably be skipping unless it's grabbing 2 liters of Pepsi. The toy selection isn't that great this year at my two closest stores after they remodeled, usually I load up on cheap toys.
  8. I was looking for kid underwear because kid had a growth spurt and stumbled on it. I searched "boys underwear" and a bunch of the $9.96-$10.96 sets, especially character sets had a green "$5.50 on Nov. 7th" under the regular price. I searched that "ad" listing and it wouldn't come up with any of the same sets but searching the regular site showed it. It's ridiculously overcomplicated this year.
  9. My kid actually needs new underwear ( another gripe, it wouldn't let me add the underwear for full price because it's going to be a sale item, even though it's the regular kids underwear they have year round) so I'll be shopping at least this round. Not planning to the other weeks at this point, I'll pay a little extra for pillows and Rubbermaid containers to not have to waste time trying to figure out when it's on sale.
  10. Last Amazon order placed, going to a local store for ODS's big present (not available online that I could find and I wanted to do at least some local shopping anyway) Probably next week on that, the farm store usually gets one BIG shipment of toys before Christmas and it just came in so have to get it while they have it! Last year they were wiped out before Thanksgiving. Placing a Thrift Books order this weekend and then it's wrapping central. Candy for stockings closer to Christmas because it'll get eaten if I buy now
  11. I am HATING the no ad thing. I was checking tonight for kids underwear and it's going to be $5.50 on Monday apparently if anyone else needs it. I randomly found a toy listing page but didn't realize it was the clothes sale too! This is seriously getting annoying.
  12. 1. Walmart or Amazon 2. I will probably hit Dollar General in store and the weekly Walmart sales depending on what they do when. 3. I miss the 1-2 days of sales though the more spread out sales can help with budgeting I suppose
  13. 2 year old - snacks/candy, small stuffed alligator if I make it back to the zoo gift shop, toy animals, stickers, Funtainer. 5 year old - snacks/candy, Disney Cars, stickers, Funtainer. I think that should fill the stockings, just got new ones last year and still haven't gotten that figured out. Grownups are mostly candy. DH is getting a replacement wedding ring in his this year.
  14. Christmas budget is lower this year. Black Friday sales are more home goods and I'm planning on about $40ish for new pillows and Rubbermaid. Christmas was around $500 last year, not sure where we're at this year but it's less. Downside of buying year round, I don't always keep as good of track of the summertime/thrifted purchases
  15. Target has a 25% off any toy/book coupon right now. I don't usually shop Target but they have really good toy deals this time of year. Can stack that with sale pricing too. And Target is price matching itself if anything you buy goes on sale between now and Christmas, you chat and they'll refund the difference.
  16. The Wednesday thing kinda works out for me/our schedule aside from I'll have the kids with me so if I'm buying anything for them it'll be difficult. And it's going to mess with my usual grocery shopping I think it's a weird time of the week to be doing the sales though.
  17. I can't wait for the curbside returns! And hopefully it stays after Christmas because that would be amazing.
  18. The usual replacement stuff like pillows, coffee pot ( I do NOT want to have to shell out $35 again because I didn't get one of BF last year!) I doubt the John Deere toys my ODS wants will be on sale, maybe TSC will but I've gotten burned by them and shipping at Christmas before. Not sure it's worth risking since it'd be pretty obvious if something came late with us scaling back. A book deal on Amazon, specifically kids books and more options then the last few sales have had. Otherwise, I'm hitting Thrift Books!
  19. Most years DVDs, we don't have internet at home so that's what we watch! Pillows from Walmart are a must, actually one of the only things I ordered last year! Christmas decorations from Dollar General, one of the better sales is on Thanksgiving and I use the cheaper ornaments as gift tags for the gifts my five year old gives to therapists and Sunday School teacher. Usually I get lights but I found an tote full of new Christmas lights in our storage unit so shouldn't need any for a few years!!! 20. I have the shopping bags still and a GD pop socket somewhere that I keep meaning to put on my phone.
  21. Hope you all had a good Christmas! I'm in toy reorganizing central along with still unpacking from moving.
  22. $9 Green Toys cargo plane I've been stalking for a price drop since it was released. $20 combo smoke/carbon monoxide alarm that's usually $42. We're about to move and needed one. Need more than one but it's a start since we don't have any carbon monoxide alarms currently. I'll keep adding smoke/carbon monoxide alarms every week or two til we have enough, expensive buggers!
  23. I went to Dollar General Thanksgiving morning and had the store to myself for the first half hour and then it was just a trickle of 1-2 people at a time after random things, not deals. I spent almost $100 on Christmas decor, candy, $45 in GC for $36? And toys. Online Thanksgiving-Cyber Monday. Walmart $45 for pillows, sheets, and socks. Amazon- smoke alarm, water bottle, Green Toys cargo plane, boots that I cancelled because I don't need. Few other small things but trying to reign spending in. Our local mall was apparently nuts, shoulder to shoulder in lots of areas/stores and VERY busy. I don't usually do the mall anyway on Black Friday but very glad I didn't this year.
  24. December check in. Hi! Packing up to move this weekend!
  25. Dollar General is the only in store shopping I'm planning on. Those $5 jammies look super cute this year! And the toys, soda, BOGO offers, tree decorating... My list is ridiculous
