I am in NY. IDK about the flyer, it was on the sign in front but I would assume it is in the flyer as well. You have to buy 10 bottles. Edited to say: I just checked my local Target flyer online and no, it is not listed. Weird bc like I said it was on one of those normal Target sale signs. However, Vitamin Water is also 10/$10 and there were signs but it is not listed either. I wonder if maybe this is a special New Year's Sale since all "health" products get cheaper this time of year?

Hi, I was at Target today and noticed that the Sobe Life Water 20 oz bottles were on sale for 10/$10 with a $5 GC given when you bought 10. Normally this would not cross my radar except all the bottles at my Target had peelie coupons on them for 50 cents off a bottle. Which, including the GC when you buy 10 bottles, made them free!!! Can't beat that! So this is how it broke down... 10 Bottles Life Water @ $1 = $10 Minus 10 coupons @ 50 cents each = $5 Then received $5 GC at cash out for buying 10 bottles thus making this a very good deal indeed!!

DD LOVED the laptop!!! She was so happy and it took nothing to set up. I am a computer dummy but the Netgear wireless router I got at Staples on sale was so easy I pretty much accidentally got it going!! Whatever, at least it is working. It ended up that I didn't even take the thing out of the box so when she saw it for the first time so did I. I was amazed at what a nice model it is. Wish I had gotten one for myself now too!! DH was drooling with envy!

LeeFamily - I am so glad your check finally came. Knowing you have raised a son who is not selfish in this era is the best gift of all!!

I used it last night but just barely. I bought a wireless router and optical mouse and it came to $31 after coupon. The coupon came up already used and apparently they had had 1 other coupon come to the store yesterday. When they matched the numbers on the coupons (thank goodness) they didn't match up so the manager called some Staples master 800 number and after they left her on hold for about 10 min she gave up and overrode the coupon for me. They were pretty nice about it.

We used to draw names in my DH's family. That has stopped after a couple of years ago when I asked for some "Ideas" for my nephew I was given a photo and weblink to a specific sweatshirt. I didn't purchase the sweatshirt right away as I was trying to space out my purchases due to money and everything. About 2 weeks later my SIL (his mother) called me up and said "are you getting him that sweatshirt or what bc if you aren't I have to get it right away". Point is I asked for ideas, not specifics. Shopping for someone is no fun when they tell you what to buy. It gets to be so specific that who cares, it is as personal as giving cash at that point so we stopped the gift exchange after that and after same SIL and her D hounded me about getting SIL an electric toothbrush that same year. Again, if you need it that bad then just stinking buy it for yourself. I get no thrill out of just choosing the color of your toothbrush. I do like to buy people things that they will like and use but when it becomes a "buy me this bc I will like nothing else" thing then it really just dampens the spirit of the season. Worst thing is this particular family is complaining louder than anyone about not drawing names anymore!!

I have another question: the rebate form says to send a copy of the receipt along with a copy of the UPC from the box. I see a few UPC's on my box (and BTW how in hell do they want me to photo copy that. I guess I have to peel off the stickers and pray they don't rip?)

Ok, so I am a complete dummy...I bought the $299 Compaq Laptop on BF and was conned into the Firedog Optimization but went back and got refunded for that a couple of days later when I realized that I had been conned. Anyway, I have not even opened the box yet as it is a gift for DD17 for Christmas. I would like to get it up and running as much as possible for Christmas morning. Can anyone tell me what I have to do? Will I have to get it loaded with everything or are computers now preloaded? It has been about 4 years since I purchased my last new computer, a Dell desktop so I am pretty rusty. TIA

Womans Jacket - 4.99 Shipped at Amazon.com
miller205 replied to dianenjeff's topic in Online Hot Deals
I also bought this back in the day (about 2 years ago). Buy it for someone that you only want to spend $4.99 on but want it to look like you spent $20 - $30 on. That would be my best description. This jacket is Walmart quality for a Dollar General price. -
LOL, that is the cutest thing I have ever heard!! Winter shoes!! Awww... When my youngest D was about that age she did a similar thing. My husband had wrapped a few dollar store type items and put them under the tree with tags that said "TO: The Cat From:Mallory; To: Mommy From: Mallory" Mallory is my D and she had just learned to recognize her name. I didn't even know what she was up to until she brought me something I had never seen before and asked for batteries!!! SO funny and DH learned his lesson the hard way that year!!

Wow, that is way better than the 8 hours I waited in front of Circuit City for the same laptop!! I should have tried Watertown, they also had it there and that is a little closer to me. I know that area a little but don't know Oswego at all really.
