  1. I'm excited, I want to pick up some boy leg briefs and a couple of bras for DD16. Do they run specials on merch as well? I'm glad someone mentioned the coupon for free painties, I will have to sneak DD's seventeen magazine and steal the coupon that is in there!!
  2. Last year I believe Limited Too had B1G1 50% off and 50% redline merch all weekend and my Too Bucks become valid starting on BF I think so hopefully I can get dd the boots she wants. Hot Topic usually runs a 50% off clearance on BF weekend and also several other specials on hoodies or Tshirts. Does anyone know if Kay Jewelers runs a BF sale?
  3. Thanks So Much!!!
  4. Depends on what items CC has online starting on Thanksgiving Day. Probably Target first though for DVDs, memory card, flash drive, and Ipod Nano w/ Free gift card. Then to CC for the Scarface PS2 game, South Park DVD set, nano accessory kit, and some cheap DVDs and PS2 or DS games (depending on the selection). THEN...depending on how that works out, over to Kmart for some price matching action on what I couldn't get at Target and CC. For some reason our local Kmart is usually very quiet on BF. Best Buy and WalMart get the most action by far. Also, was it Staples that had the external DVD burner for $29, wherever that was I will be too!!
  5. OMG, the work you guys put into this is incredible and I cannot thank you enough for all of the great deals I have found through your site not just at Christmas but year-round. I am sure that some days this seems like a thankless job but please know we all appreciate your efforts. You guys are like the Robin Hoods of Black Friday shopping!!!
  6. Last year I was in our TJ Maxx on BF weekend and they were having an additional 50% off clearance. At least it is something. Does anyone know if Kohl's will price adjust? I just bought some things yesterday and want a few more things but if they are cheaper on BF I have no problem stopping and asking for a price adjust.
  7. I thought the Walmart ad sucked too!! Too bad bc I totally avoid Wally on BF and therefore now I am afraid that a lot more people will be hounding aroundmy favorite BF stores. I am anxious to see the Target ad. I was hoping for some kind of Ipod Nano deal for BF like free accessories or something.
  8. These are great. I have been wanting to replace my SC 1 and 2 VHS tapes w/ DVDS. This would be a good time to do that.
  9. Name? Randy Location? Central / Northern NY People going with you? nada How long have you been shopping on BF? oh gosh...12 -15 years at least What is the one AD that you really want to see? TARGET~!~ What was that one item you sooo wanted to get, but couldn't get it on BF? IDK, I try to shake it off if I can't get something Cheapest thing you ever bought on BF? A memory card for my camera a few years ago I guess Did you ever get anything for free on BF? YES - years ago...tin of cookies and a 101 Dalmatians gift bag at Kmart, wrapping paper at TRU, lots of stuff. I wish they would still do doorbuster freebies (sigh)
  10. That's too bad. I thought it was a cute idea!!
  11. Too bad they didn't have the FP3 digital media player. That would be too good to be true!!
  12. I don't see this. All I see is a free toy of $19.99 or less when you buy a toy priced $19.99 or higher? However, it is still a good deal and FREE SHIPPING TOO!!
  13. My husband owns his own business and it happens to be located next door to our home so on Christmas Eve I have a NO WORKING rule. We always have the same menu: French Onion Soup Meat Fondue Steamed Clams Lobster (DD1 and I share a lobster, no one else likes it) Warm Gingerbread w/ real whipped Cream After an early dinner my husband likes to pop in his favorite holiday cartoons, "Yogi's First Christmas" and "Santa and the Three Bears" (no kidding). Then w/ kids in jammies we all head down (next door as well) to my FIL's house where we exchange gifts w. him and the rest of the family (we draw names). There will be cocktails and appetizers and Christmas music there but it is all very casual. I usually try to get the kids home by 10 or 11 and then my husband always stays an extra hour or so and when he gets home I am usually watching the "Christmas Story" TBS marathon. Then we play Santa and try to catch a few hours of shut eye.
  14. This is a really really nice deal. Especially for the younger kids who are still a little too irresponsible to have an expensive player.
  15. Great deals but pretty much picked clean. Wish I had seen it sooner.
  16. I really wish stores would go back to giving freebies on BF. I remember getting the Elmo cookie tin at Kmart and a 101 Dalmations gift bag another year. Wrapping paper one year at TRU too. I think Big Lots still does a giveaway on Thanksgiving and BF, which is nice.
  17. I just got 2 confirmation emails that show all my movies in stock. It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown I want a dog for Christmas Charlie Brown Scrooged White Christmas Surviving Christmas Charlottes Web FS Snow Day Madagascar Fairytale A True Story I can't remember the other one now...
  18. This is a nice code. Now what to use it for!!!
  19. This is unbelievable!! What a deal!! I got 10 DVD's for $58 shipped. There are so many great titles. I really stocked up on some christmas movies I had been wanting. ThankS!
  20. I work on BF as well. I cannot get the day off usually due to others w/ seniority taking it before me. Fortunately I can pretty much come in late if I need to. Last year I got up early and hit 4 stores (Target, Penney's, Staples, and Kmart) and still made it in to work by 9am. I have to say that is part of the allure for me. How many stores can I hit and still be in to work at a decent hour? It's like a badge of honor to come into work and tell all the non-BF shopping co-workers what I was up to that morning.
  21. ONly Spongebob and Disney left. i should have jumped on these when i first saw the post.
  22. Thanks so much for the heads up!! If anyone gets these you get an extra $25 off by using the code HOHOHOHO at checkout. I ordered these and a set of 500 thread count sheets for $40, used the above code plus a $25 gift code I had received from my AMAZON Visa and my total savings was something in the area of $550!!!!
  23. Hope1976: It kind of stinks that their birthday is so close to Christmas. We bought the baby a big Radio Flyer wagon for his bday but I have a feeling my husband will cave in and give it for Christmas (the little guy loves riding around the house in my older daughter's little wagon). Then we will have to buy more for the birthday! I saw someone post about putting a little See N Say in the stocking. I like that idea. I will definitely do that. Besides being my last child (I have 2 daughters 11 and 15 too!!) he is our only boy so the spoiled meter is getting pretty high. I have to admit though that this holiday season has been so enjoyable if not incredibly busy. I am sure that my girls will enjoy playing with his toys as much as he will. Enjoy the holidays with your family!!
  24. OMG!! MY son was born 1/25/2005 too!!! I am in the same boat as you. I probably won't do too many stocking stuffers. Definitely the baby toothbrush and toothpaste. Have you tried the Gerber Little Dippers? They are little eating utensils that when you dip them in pudding or yogurt or what ever the it stays on it w/o falling off and the baby learns to feed themselves w/o the hassle of needing to find the right side of a spoon or fork. You could do those in the stocking. Nick (my baby) loves his. As the other person said, this year has gone by soooo fast. I cannot believe it and he is my last one for sure so it is a really bittersweet time for me what with all of his developing independence. Cash for the piggy bank is always nice for a baby stocking too I guess! I don't know about you but I ended up getting him way more than I thought I would for Christmas this year.
  25. Staples: Leather Managers Chair 39.97 100 count HP CD-Rs 14.95 40 count color cd cases 7.95 2 50-pk Canon 4x6 Photo Paper 2.94 ea Kaufmanns: Jr Jeans 12.99 each Sears: Craftsman Twin Work Light on Tripod 19.99 Bolts Out Power Set 12.99 Kids Work Boots 19.99 (not on sale) Target: Sharktale DVD Napoleon Dynamite DVD Robots DVD Lexmark Printer 17.88 16 qt Roaster w/ Buffet set and Turkey prep kit 26.00 (reg. 59.99) Harry Potter Scene It Game 26.97 Womens 3 pc pajama set 10.88 I think that's it. What a morning!! AND I was at work by 8 am. Headed to Kmart for B1G1 Joe Boxer jammies after a dentist appt later. Hope there is a store left. Staples was the best and busiest. I waited in line for 45 min but a clerk carried my computer chair to the front and they held it till I got up front. Target was the quickest checkout. I got right in the express line and was out in less than 15 min total. Kaufmanns was the worst deal. The jeans were a good deal but they had a coupon for $10 of any purchase of $25 or more. Unfortunately the fine rpint on the coupon read that this did not apply to purchases of JR jeanswear. OMG!!! Oh, well. It was still jeans for 12.99.
