Ok I will confess, I did one time but it really wasn't cutting in line. If you go to any store that has two doors you know one is the automatic door and one is the push/pull door. This particular time everyone seemed to be standing at the automatic door. No one was standing at the push/pull door. So my mil, 2 sils and I decide we would stand there. Well no one said anything as a matter of fact, several people came up and started to make a second line. Why shouldn't we. There are two doors for a reason. But as far a cutting infront of people no way.

Ok for those of you who got a cabbage patch in the 80's, you will remember that fateful Black Friday. Black Friday has been going on for over fifty years. My mother told me a time when her mother got dolled up to go shopping the day after thanksgiving, and then my grandmother would come home with bags of stuff. My mother rarely went but when she did, I can tell you she got some good deals. Oh Yeah don't forget the Attari. Both my parents went out that BF. And they probably spent like 400 just on the system and the games. And VCR's.

well if you have read my threads about halloween then you know that I decorate!!!!!!. My hubby loves to decor the outside, whilst I decor the inside. My problem this year is where, I am going to put some of the stuff I bought after Christmas when it was 90% off. Have alot more candles too. We decor on Black Friday. I come home take a nap, then get up put stuff away and put the tree up. Then we go down town to watch the parade of lights and get our picture taken with santa.

I would have gotten one last year as well, but I like the white trees, and all they had last year were the green pre-lit trees. They were not just the slim ones. Although they did have alot of the fiberoptic ones on sale as well.

I have three girls ages 12, 9 and 4. The 12 year old said she would like an ipod but not for christmas. She wants to buy one herself. But as far as the other two, I can't wait to see how low the prices go.

Yeah that is why I want one ad to come out on halloween. Dang it they get there candy, why can't we get our candy (ADS, ADS, ADS) Oh PLEASE JUST ONE AND I WON"T CARE IF I DON"T HAVE THAT STORE.

I think this is one of my biggest. I understand that some can't get babysitters, but then you don't bring them out in the big crowd. Just think of all the germs. I also can't stand when people don't say excuse me. It's not like they're hard words to say.

I use mostly cash, but I do use cc's. I actually have thought about the visa pre paid card but you have to pay a fee everytime you use it. I think it is like .50 but still that is alot.

I have, and I can't believe that we have gotten that lazy we need a pen to do all that stuff. It can even spell check words for you. I saw it at a sci-fi demo at our State Fair.

My nephew who has everything got that for his birthday. His mother says she can't get him to put it down. He is learning though. So I say let him play. I think I might, MIGHT get one for my baby girl (well she is four). She will need something in April when she has surgery.

I would think it might drop 20 maybe. Last year you could get the Xbox for 149.99 at Target that included three games. Remember when the ps2 came out my husband bought a ps for 99.99.

It didn't happen to me but my sil. At Menard's they were selling lava lamps for 4.88. That was a really great deal so when they finally opened the door everyone was of course trying to get to them. We found them and some lady actually knocked one over and it landed on my sil's head. She had a nice bump there for awhile. I just shouted, "How rude?". Nothing like that has happened to me.

I too have to drive 70 miles to get to the "big city". I usually get up around 2:30 though and out the door by 3. In the lines by 4:30.

I carry 5 things with me, money, credit cards, check book, driver's lincense and chapstick. All of which fit it in my coat pockets. I carried a purse for the first two years and it got in the way. I found it became a weapon. so to avoid hitting anyone, I go pockets.

I agree. My kids well they are all done so, I guess even if they were bad santa would still come. It's ME NOW. ALL ME.

I think I went to Walmart for one thing, but as far all the ads, yes they were very disappointing. I was extremely disappointed with Target and Menard's. Those two I could rely on for good sales, but last year they weren't very good either.

I don't really have any. Other than just case the joint first.
