It depends on how many are going. Usually we take two my car and DS van.

Not for me I have to work. I am on my seven day stretch now, then 3 days off two days on two days off and then six day stretch. Then I have the weekend of THanksgiving off. 20 days, Kmart's Thanksgiving is out. Looks like hubby will be going.

TVs and the pearls. Wow!!! Hubby will be going this year.

I wear my santa hat, my christmas sox, jeans, my santa shirt, my flashing earrings and necklace, my heavy winter coat, and my heavy thick gloves. I will post a picture if you'd like. And I even got a christmas purse for all the shopping.

It really makes me sad when people say anything to get attention. Look, there are alot of us old members who pretty much know when the ads come out. I would love to get one everyday, but that just doesn't happen and won't ever happen. Maybe it's just me, but I don't even have a Lowes. and I looked it over. I love this site and will never ever leave it. Also I appreciate what Brad, Ross and Bigjim do for us(If I left anyone out, you can hang me by my toes). Especially now. Keep doing what you guys are doing. Ok now that I said my peace, back to topic 22 days and Lowes ad it out.

If you do go with a friend, my advice would be to go on the 26th and get a visitor pass for the 28th. Make sure you go with your friend that day to. Otherwise, you are not getting on base. Or you can give your friend the list and money.

I do believe the AFB in Ohio is Wright Patterson. Where that is I am not sure. You do need a military ID to purchase anything.

23 days Now have Factory Card and Party Outlet. Keep them coming. In a dream world it would be nice to get an ad everday until Thanksgiving.

24 days to go and we have Lowes. Just a few more for me.

25 days and we have AAFES. Awesome. Great deals. We also have Bath & Body Works. Yeaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!

I am getting so anxious for this ad to come out. I know they will have the staple stuff. But what surprises do they hold this year. Did not like standing in the long line to check out, but man was it worth it. You know, I do believe that I spent 75% of my BF money at Menard's last year. Oh I can't wait.

I also like the way that the workers on BF stand at the end of each isle and are ready to help. We always ask where everything is.

They also have candles for sale the big ones for $1.98 or something like that. They rock! I love their christmas stuff too. They just have great deals on alot of stuff.

I am hoping their ad comes out again this year, early. But it is an even year. And looking back it has only come out in odd years. So:crossfing .

My name is Paula and I am from a small town in North Dakota. I have two beautiful girls. 12 and 7. I work at a nursing home. I have been happily married for 15 yrs. Hubby is in the military. I have been a member for a while. I love this site and will stay a member.

We always go to Walmart first, for no other reason than to get out of the cold and walk around. Then it really depends on what store has what. But typically we are finished by 11 am or 12. Most of the time we spend between 15 to 30 minutes in each store.

I will have to work thanksgiving, but part of the deal was, I get BF off and the weekend. I will never have to work Christmas though.

I got her an awesome gift basket. In it, I put a scrapbook of my children's year, had them make her a card, a gift card to Joann's, some yarn, a small sewing kit (she lost a button one day in October and she complained she didn't have anything to sew the button back on, she borrowed mine, we were out shopping), some cross stitch and a scrapbook kit. I think she will love this. Thank you to everyone who responded, I am finsihed.

My Dh does the same thing. Every year when we discuss Christmas, we both say five gifts each. One big gift and four small gifts. Every year he always ends up buying me my five gifts +. And I must admit, well... I do the same thing. I just wish he didn't wait to wrap them until Christmas Eve.

Thank you so much for your idea's. I love her very much and I want to get her something she will enjoy. Your idea's are great now I think I can get her something. The craft basket is a really good idea, she is old school and I think she might enjoy that. Maybe I could put in it a gift card to Joann's (No Michael's here). I know she shops there alot. Maybe I could buy her some scrap material so she can make a quilt oh wait she would make it for me. I will find something for her at Joann's I am sure.

Those would be good ideas but That is what I got her last Christmas (a calendar with all the great, great nieces and nephews on it. She cried.) and sis and I went together for her birthday and bought her a gift card for Magic spa's and Casino. I think that is what it was called. She likes to do arts and crafts but she works on so many that I can't keep up. Oh this really bites, I really don't know what to get her. She is the only one left. And I am literally panicing, because we are getting close to Christmas. She doesn't watch tv or movies and she rarely reads books. Now you know why it is so hard to buy for her.
