I need a gift for my great Aunt. I am stumped and Have no idea. She is in her 50's and is one of those people who have everything. I love her like she is my mother. She doesn't have a daughter so I would be the closest. Please help me.

It is what, almost two weeks since BF and my walmart still has some of the doorbusters out at doorbuster prices. Does this seem odd to anyone else?

We started out on Thanksgiving going over the ads and regoing over the ads. Finally we came up with our game plan. My sis's and my cousin stayed at my cousin's house. (he lives closer to the stores). We got up and 4:15 to head over to Walmart. Cousin needed the tv stand, middle sis needed some toys, I wanted the pre-lit trees and the robes, and Baby sis didn't need anything. After Cousin got his Tv stand he went to Staples to get TV, Middle sis went to Target to get our list and Baby and I went to Menards. Baby sis and I had so much fun there it wasn't even funny. We got everything on list. While we were waiting in line cousin came and helped us out. It was funny because Middle sis kept calling and telling how she was waiting forever at Target. It ended up mid sis got to Menards just in time to put bought items in van. Sis's went to Hebergers and Cousin and I went to BB. We were in BB a total of ten minutes, got everything we wanted. We met up with sissies and they headed for Jcpenney's and We (cousin and I) headed to gamestop. Got what we wanted then we met up again, just as we were leaving gamestop they were walking right towards us. We went to Mcdonalds for a well deserved cup of coffee and something to eat and we payed each other back. Ate, cousin went home to sleep had to work at 2. We then went to hobby lobby, got a few ornaments for my new tree (wink, wink) we were done by 9:3,and went home to seperate all the stuff, wrap some, put up my new tree with new ornaments and went to our towns parade of lights had some dinner and watched my DD6 and DNiece5 sing rudolph the red nosed reindeer. This was the best BF I have had in a long time. I ended up with 120.00 in my pocket and a smile on my face.

Well we ended up going right after Walmart and we ended up getting every thing on the list. And to top it off we only waited in line for less than 35 minutes. It was great. I had so much fun.

We usually put it in around 7 or 8 am but since DH is will be at kmart we will have to wait until 9 this year. I don't think I can wait another hour before we eat.

I will have five this year. One is my kitchen and it is of candy and food (get it it's in the Kitchen) Then my entry way and it is green and red, The main one is ornaments we have collected through out the years. Then I have two upstairs, one is precious moments and the other is angels. I want one to put in the master bedroom but hubby has but foor down.

hubby should be getting in line here in the next twenty minutes or so.

wow menards is going to be really busy. I am for sure not going there first. I will wait a little while.

I don't know where hubby got his, but I know that Scheel's normally on bf have great deals on gun safe's and gun cabinets. I think last year they included a free gun cleaning kit with the purchase of a safe or cabinet, not sure though. Brain isn't young anymore.

ok I know this is going to sound a little snotty, but I have to see it to believe it. Thanks for the info though. Maybe tonight or tomorrow someone can scan the ad. What I don't understand though is why some people are getting it and others are not. I get the paper everday and not one stinking ad in it today. Plus it is not posted on their website. Oh, well maybe tomorrow.

Are you sure it was the Friday sale or Pre- Thanksgiving. Cause I just got the Christmas catalog which you can go to www.menards.com and view it, you can also view the Pre-Thanksgiving ad.

You are right, I was thinking of Game Attics I think that is what it is called. It is a local store. And the store manager at Gamestop, told me that during the holidays you have 30 days to return used games and 7 days to return new.

I know you what you mean. Like I said in an earlier post we just sat there, watching people walk in. I can't stand that either and last year it was bitterly cold. Below 30 I think. I will never stand in line again. Because I am not going to stand there and freeze and then let someone who just got there get in before me. So I will wait until the line dies down a bit. Because I am sure your Menards is like mine they had alot of the stuff that was on sail. So I will wait. But I for sure will make Menards my very last stop. Not going to wait in line to check out either.

At our gamestop you have three days to return the game.

I think this year I will do the same. Menard's killed me last year, even after we waited to go in. I mean we literally sat at denny's drinking coffee watching people go in. And it still got me.

Somebody Please, I need this Ad. I need it.

Last year was the first for me. I have only gone to walmart maybe twice on BF, but we decided to go. We went there first and I got to tell you, I had more fun there than I did at any other store. The store manage came on the speaker around 4:30 and told everyone to be nice and courteous and that the sales would start at 5 but we were welcomed to shop around and find all the "goodies". My mom, sis and I were really surprised, because we have always had to deal with rushing people and crowds, but last year there weren't any and I got everything I wanted, sis got everything and mom got everything. Of course mom talked sis and I into buying that stupid Baby Alive for our DDs. But it was fun and at 10 minutes til 5 he told us to get ready. So we did and wow what a major difference.

I love when we talk about this. Because, I am one of those people you see wearing Christmas attire and sometimes you may even see me in my blinking Santa hat. I wear jeans (have been known to wear my Christmas Lounge pants), my blinking Christmas shirt, of course my blinking lights necklace and finally to top the entire outfit my(I bet you can't guess what) my blinking socks. I also wear my jingle bell earrings. I love it. As far as make-up, I do a quick eye liner and I am good to go. Don't need to comb my hair, cause I will be wearing my Santa hat.
