And 16K TVs and quad band routers will be all rage.
-
It's not officially BF season until you do...
-
Regardless, I still think you'll be looking strange to guests trying to tell your remote/smartphone what you want your tv to do. I can just imagine the kids catching on quick and then one day walking over to the TV remote and leaning over, "turn on".....then looking at the tv wondering why nothing happened... so in a louder tone "TURN ON"...."Dad!! The TV isn't listening."

I forget everything I'm returning. I barely just got organized enough last night to figure out where all 31 packages are for the last week of online shopping. But I will gather everything and make one trip to the stores (I think BB & Kohl's) this week.
-
Surprisingly that hasn't been one of the heated topics at any of the debates...
-
Now that the trend is shifting to ONLINE BF shopping, we need to have cyber Monday before BF. Which sort of has started happening unofficially.

What is Best Buy waiting for?? C'mon leaked ads!!! We need a big one.
-
I think you can use mobile app as a replacement for the voice remote.

Ah, I see. They did coupons and globes Thu night at my store last year (even though I don't think they were supposed to). Wish I'd read that better...

The 2015 Black Friday Product Charts (What Did You Think?)
bribri25 replied to stationchief's topic in 2015
I definitely use them, too! If not for myself, but often to answer questions asked by others in the forum. I didn't really get to use the mobile site because all the things I needed were bought online and I only went to stores to pick up "random things" after popular hours. I'll try to think of some ideas for improvement. -
Well done. That was no warm night last night; thought not the coldest BF either. Menards is always so busy because it's really the only thing opening on Friday morning that's worth going to. I had DD5 & DS4 for the day, so I naturally had to wait for them to wake up. I was up at 5:45 ready to go and DS4 decided to sleep in til 6:55 this morning. Got there, made the mistake of not grabbing a cart from the parking lot, zig zagged through the store for my ~10 items, got everything on my list, waited 10 minutes to check out (the store was crowded, but not overly ridiculous when we checked out at 8:00). Plus, I let the kids run around and check out all the inflatables before we got in line to check out. Then we hit Petsmart and then Dunkin Donuts - so it's wasn't all that bad for them What time did the line really start to pick up some gusto? I feel like I've been there around 1 hour prior to opening to see if really pick up rapidly all the way until opening.

I haven't been able to compile up everything that I'v gotten this week, but I did just count up that there are officially 9 packages (15-20 items) scheduled to arrive at my house on Monday.... oh my. Edit: Actually, that'll be over 30 items since one of those packages is my 20-item package from Kohls. That could potentially be 13 packages, depending on my JCP order in limbo; there's 4 packages (each 1 item) that were all shipped at the same time, all with different tracking numbers, originating from the same locations, and all show being at varying statuses and cities along the way; the closest being 1 day from delivery...so likely Monday. Also, there's 7 packages scheduled for Tuesday. So that brings a 2-day total of packages to 20. I'm gonna need a bigger porch.

When will the Yes2You rewards come through from these November purchases?
-
I sacrificed sleep for that (but also for about 15 other items through 3am), but yes, I would really like the items that I ordered for such a good value.
-
I think because they were EVERYWHERE and being sold by so many retailers and there's so many variations (even just of fitbits), as well as other brands of fitness trackers (Garmin, Samsung, etc.) that the supply just outweighed the demand.
-
Yep, this time next year, I'll have saved $500+ and can buy a new 60" TV on BF ....might be springing for a tri band router at that point too since everyone was raving about them this year.
-
Well, it IS a ninja.... ....sorry, I couldn't resist.
-
Identical situation. I just chatted with customer service and they assured me it would be there on Monday between 9-6, but didn't have any tracking information (well, no kidding....i saw that it wasn't shipped - I could have told you there was no tracking info). At this point, they are going to need to overnight it to get it here by Monday (unless they are shipping it from my local store to my house. lol). I almost went in the store this morning to re-purchase my items, but I figured by 10am they'd be sold out and that's the last thing DD5 & DS4 would have wanted to do after hitting up Menards/PetSmart/DunkinDonuts/Costco this morning. There's still more available online of my item - I just want to make sure I get it!

True. Yes, I have heard of that... But I reeeeeeeeally needed new sneakers and I doubt I'd get a similar deal..... Although, anything remotely close and having $75 KC to use next week, and only a Boxed Calendar currently on the list, that might not be a bad way to spend it. I refuse to pay over $40 for sneakers, though. Only 1/2 size up & down are still available online
-
I just got me sneakers today and tried on the right one....PERFECT. Tried on the left one.... and the inside of the shoe at the toe has a clump of rubber all bunched up in the front! I picked at it from the inside, tried to squish it as far to the front as possible, and I can almost live with it if it were to come to me losing my $15 KC if I have to return them (considering I'd only get $25 back for them, minus the KC = $10...). Has anyone ever encountered a defective product that would take them below the KC threshold, and will likely be out of stock in-store and online (about to go check kohls.com)? Should I call Kohls or go in store? Will they do their best to get me a correctly-made pair of those sneakers?

I keep getting distracted by the person tumbling all over the display and amazingly not get tackled/trampled while being on the floor for quite a long time swimming in the pile of steamers.
-
I know. It was a daunting task to scroll through 34 pages of the current deals, but totally worth it to save another 20%! ...on something that was already going to be bought for them and myself anyway! Today has been a much better day with the Lightning Deals and there's been things to entice impulse buys.
-
I just found an item on my Wish List and 2 items on family wish lists that were lightning deals. Added those puppies to cart and checked out (each separately to get $1 credit for no-rush shipping).

I did see the correction on concurrent streams of Sling, and my CC adds another year warranty on. I've never actually used that from any of my credit cards, so it'd be an adventure should I ever have to use it and make a claim; but I will opt not to get the warranty from Channel Master. I think even the full year would uncover any issues.
