I'm not sure a curved TV would ever work for me, either. My setup thrives on the fact that you can effectively watch the TV from a 5 degree angle. If the TV was curved, you'd only see the back of the TV.

Yep, this is already on my BF 2016 wish list. When is that OFFICIAL thread starting?

They've definitely overlapped the redemption period with another period of KC earning (e.g. right before the BF sale they were doing $10 KC for every $50 and redeemable during the week of the BF sale). In this case, you'll earn the KC on the subtotal after you've used your KC. KC is treated as a coupon (the FIRST coupon). It's used, the price is adjusted, additional coupons are used (% off code), and THEN it will evaluate your KC earning. If after all those KC & coupons you're still above $50, you'd still earn KC on this transaction.

Ours is open that late (and has been that way for a few years) from now til christmas. Oh, nice. I didn't have the time to stay and shop today. I'll be back there... maybe try in-store pickup. I also doubt I'll be any more than a few $ over my total KC & Y2U rewards.

14th is a long time away... If coming from a distribution center within a few hundred miles, it's very likely to be able to arrive in 1-2 days. Additionally, using USPS across the country should still arrive in less than 5 business days. You certainly have a reason for concern (being so long already), but don't give up hope yet if it still says 14th.

And..... $20 Yes2You rewards just came in. Sure, I'll combine that with my $75 KC and if I spend over $95, use 20% code....if you insist, Kohl's.

Thanks, everyone! I was thinking the same thing. It would resurface on my mind now and again when a new post would appear in that thread. I had NO IDEA I'd had that many posts this year; although maybe some of those entries were due to x2 promotions. And good thing for the runner up prize, or I wouldn't have won at all

I'd already spent too much BF week (or so it seems with the plethora of stuff I got - but all great deals), so really just a couple lightning deals on Amazon. And trying to decide if I need to return some things to the store...

Sure. I get that. But, I think the quality screen you get from 1080p is still sufficient for today and multiple years to come. You're not going to notice the picture display difference between a 1080p and 4k set (obviously not in native 4k input) on a 50-60" screen. As for the more HDMI inputs; I'm not sure how many you need. The 1080p sets I come across have 3+. Maybe I'm an exception to the norm and I have a receiver that takes my 2-4 HDMI inputs and I really only need one in my TV. I've had a Sharp 55" for 10 trouble-free years (sure; not a near match for picture quality these days, but gets the job done) Got Samsung 60" & 40" 2 1/2 years ago and those are great. I think one of the HDMI ports is toast, but there's still 2 more. I even have a 27" tube TV that's still going strong and plays DVDs & Gamecube just wonderfully ....The only features it's missing is HD and portability (That sucker is heavy!!!)
-
I don't think the sets from 2015 are being dumbed down, but possibly the 2016s will. 4k had barely even taken off in 2015 that they couldn't have expected that enough to start throwing all their eggs in that basket.

Thank you, Brad!!!! Thank you to GottaDeal!

I have never actually bought anything from ebay. I always figured there were extra fees to buy things and always seem to see resale things from individuals; not retailers. Maybe I just need to investigate a bit further...
-
Kohl's didn't state what percentage of orders was canceled... That 25% figure of in store pickup is insane.
-
.... but 25 days early

For those who may have been skeptical as to the fact of the influx of packages I was receiving today...

Did you try their app?

There's Harry Potter sets on Amazon.com Deal of the Day.

I'm so sorry to hear all those troubles. That really is the worst customer service at Walmart.

Still out? Keep on it; things may change throughout the night. I know, I know, tough to say with it being WM.
-
They will give the wristbands out UP TO 2 HOURS ahead; but not all WalMart stores will follow that; just to note. Also, do you know that 4pm was early enough to get there? There may have already been 28 people in line for 17 laptops by 4pm and even though they handed out wristbands at that time doesn't mean everyone in line by that time received one...

I would probably start with PayPal and cancel the transaction on their side. I'm not sure how the gift card is tied up; that may take BB intervention since if the amount deducted on the gift card didn't go anywhere, they should refund that back on. I've never used PayPal, myself.

You can definitely use it with any of the deals/sales that are currently going on. You can use with coupon codes for % off, but that only applies after the KC is applied; e.g. it will deduct the $15 KC from your $25 subtotal before taking your 20% off. I'm planning to get a Boxed Calendar, and possibly a replacement for the sneakers I'll need to return.

Samsung has some decent deals for Cyber Monday (~ 50% off): http://www.samsung.com/us/shop/black-friday/tvs/PRICEL-H/1/15/G

As previously discussed, I'm curious how everyone spent their time shopping this year. With more and more sales being online and offered before Thanksgiving Day, did you do much shopping in the stores; and if so, when was that majority? I wasn't sure how to categorize the cyber Monday sales already starting, so use your own judgement whether it might have been something you'd have bought anyway even if it wasn't Monday yet. Since this is my first poll, be aware of potential technical difficulties.
