    Shopko ad

i really wish I wanted anything other than the Fabric Drawers (not $50 worth)... I do want that K40 Keurig, but other places have the same price WITH $15 GC, so that's not a good choice (even with $10 off $50 coupon for signing up on email list). Maybe I'll venture in the store tomorrow night for a few drawers.
  2. Is there a link for this sale? Nevermind. Found it. http://www.target.com/c/early-access-ways-to-shop/-/N-57a8u#?lnk=Other_112415_HP_0_E1_5_10_2015|E1|T:Template_Home5|C:CMS&intc=3070567|null Edit: So glad I didn't stay up (any later than I already was) for that.
  3. I haven't gotten any ads; just a few coupon inserts; Kohls, Ace Hardware
  4. I just used the known 15%. Sorry.
  5. I don't need any video games, or anything on the mentioned list so I think I'm going to fall asleep at will and not stay up any longer.
  6. Here's my current configuration: http://i.imgur.com/sXUvYAx.png MAIN TV Records approximately 15-20 hours of network television per week Records approximately 5-10 hours of ESPN family per week Watch/record other random cable tv shows BED TV Records ~5 hours of network tv per week Watch/record few random hours otherwise per week LOWER TV Hardly ever watches much cable/network TV; mostly blu-ray player Rarely, but sometimes play Wii here XTRA TV This is still a tube TV (I know; probably will be HDTV next BF) mostly kids watch DVDs We have Amazon Prime & own 2 Chromecast. No real gaming systems. Wired network jacks available at all TV locations. I am planning to cut the cable this winter and currently planning the following: - Antenna near one of the TVs that gets the best reception; splitting the feed to that close TV & down to the Cable Hub (IN), then goes out to the rest of the house - "cutting" the INCOMING CABLE line - Signing up for Sling TV (for ESPN family); $20 / month - Buying at least 1 Fire TV Stick for the Main TV to stream SlingTV, etc. - WD My Book 4TB External HD (Best Buy $99 BF) for using with the DVR (TBD) Then it comes to the DVR; The DVR+ 2-pack deal sounds really good and would put that for Main TV & Bed TV...we'd still be able to watch live TV downstairs and potentially stream Amazon Prime content, etc. The Tivo would be a bigger investment (2 Roamio + maybe 1 TiVo mini), but allow us to share the HD and watch any content on any TV What are your thoughts for my situation on: - Which DVR? - Which streaming device(s)? - Is the 4TB HD a good choice? Thanks!
  7. Go into your Order Details for that order where it lists each item. This will show you the status of each and some of them may have already shipped. The order status won't change to COMPLETE until every item has shipped, so it might just be an item or two holding it up.

    Shopko ad

The Packer game is 7:30pm; do they really need 5 hours to shop....at Shopko?
  9. This is because Kohls.com is honoring the BF ad sale prices and reflected when shopping online. In-store is just at the regular or normal sale prices (which is why you can't go in and buy the TVs / XBox / etc. today). Buying online gets you the BF prices; regardless of in-store pickup or shipping. I have a feeling they hadn't anticipated the in-store pickup aspect so much. My Friday order has fully shipped (and almost entirely arrived). My Sunday night order has recently fully shipped. Yay! And just placed another order today with DW using my KC from Friday's order; spent $56 more ($retail over $250) and earned another $15 KC ($75 total now to use next week).
  10. Oh, I see. I hadn't looked through the ad yet. I see that deal, and also see under the "15% off" states "Some exclusions apply" - I'm sure this'll be an exclusion, or not even be available online.
  11. I was supposed to get sleep tonight to gear up for tomorrow night!!! ....I don't think there's anything on my list in this sale, but I don't want to miss out on something in case it is.
  12. I may put one on my wish list for sometime in the next year or next BF
  13. If it goes up online at all, it'll surely sell out of stock before cyber Monday time. What does the 15% save you vs. The $299.99 BF price; a few bucks?
  14. What shipping method is that one using?
  15. The usual; cold, rainy, with a chance of snow.
  16. I think it's midnight tomorrow night, right?
  17. ....and in reality, Wednesday night at midnight (probably Central time).
  18. Yes, it's very likely the deals will get better Wednesday, and certainly Thursday & Friday.
  19. I don't really see any new format to the lightning deals. The only change from previous years is that they don't have the Movies/CDs/etc. calendar that they used to have. Everything else is the same; they throw up 1,000 random (mostly mediocre) deals throughout the day and sprinkle in some gems and/or price matches for other BF retailers. It's still laid out that on a computer, you see ~3 across and ~25 per page and on mobile you see ~2 across and continually scroll down. And as an added bonus, they now have filtering by Current/Upcoming/Watching and let you Watch an upcoming deal with a reminder. If you're saying that you never really looked through the lightning deals on an hourly basis and just went off the calendars for items you knew would be there in advance, then yes, it's changed - they don't have the calendars; but that's not a format change of the Amazon lightning deals. And just saw this that 3pm-11pm PST on Thursday, there will be 'mobile app only' specific deals. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000625601&forceHttps=0&isAUI=1
  20. This does sound like the case. However, you're banking on the fact that they will still have those types of items available online for purchase.
  21. I don't think they are up, yet.
  22. Never once have I had it happen. I've probably purchased 100 lightning deals in the past 10 years.
  23. Yeah, been gong there to check out all the shipments. I agree that emails are rarely being received for shipments going out. Although, from last week's order, I got a "Order Delivered" email from Kohls when it showed up at my door.
  24. Thanks! They are perfectly capable of swiping on their Nabi 2 right now, so I'll just think of it as a lock screen wallpaper with an extra button. They will learn quick when it means waiting for a web site to load vs. going right to their apps/videos. Lol
  25. Yes, that makes me feel a little more comfortable. Will they be able to figure out that to unlock the sponsored screen that you need to push this button and then swipe, etc.? Or do you have to go to the sponsored link before being able to open an app upon turning on the device?
