I have picked up a few toys and books for DD7 and for DGS. Nothing for the older ones yet. Last year I was able to get about 90% done on BF so I guess I am hoping to do the same this year.

I hope to go Saturday, so I'll look for the belts and caps THANKS!!

I am in NC but shop in VA yes I have Kohls charge. No new stores opening here as far as I know. I hope you get one too!!

DD7 wants the Barbie Camper so I am watching for that, I have no clue about the others.

I ventured out today because DD has outgrown all her school clothes, shoes, underclothes, socks etc!! She's been wearing flip flops most of the summer but her shoe size went from a 3 1/2 to a 5 1/2. We got a lot of it bought today. Sales were good, we found things she liked and so did I and no tax. thanks OP

My schedule today was hectic, but I finally got to Target around 8pm. Needless to say it was very picked over. I did find some small plastic boats and cars for $.24 each, some paperroni sets for DD and some kind of playschool ball poppin toy for the DGS. I was happy to find a few things.

One of my boys lives in NV so last year I did free shipping through Amazon and told him not to open. Then I mailed one package through USPS with the flat rate box. But you're right shipping is expensive. My in-laws use to send money for the family here, but last year did gift cards so the couples could have a night out. The teenage would enjoy a gift card but I am not sure about the younger ones. Could you ask their parents to get them something from you and put under the tree if you sent the money? Could you order from somewhere with free shipping and then she could wrap it for you?

I have them put away for DD for Christmas, so it's great to know they are good doll shoes. Have fun stalking them I hope you are able to get more!!

I have been stalking those shoes too!! They have been 50% of here for a week but when I went Friday they were down to last box so I bought them but I was so hoping for 75%. Now I am watching the little tykes lawnmowers, jungle in my pockets, paperonis and a few other things.

Stride rite usually has a sale between now and school starting. Buy one get one half off. I usually get DD's shoes there. I have also found clearance shoes there as well. keep an eye on their web site and they should announce the sale. When I get my postcard in the mail from them I'll try to remember to post

Just keep checking. I just got a full size Webber gas grill reg. $399 for $49! :DSomeone else was buying a table for $40. They must be finding these left in the stockroom when bringing out school supplies. I was also still able to get Summer items at 90%. I told the cashier what the prices should be when they rang up INF. Our grills are still full price (last time I checked) so I am jealous. they did have a brickman marked clearance but that was on 15%, All the rest were full price. I would love to get one like you did!!!!

If anyone is interested in singamajigs I saw them in Kohl's. you may be able to get them in with an additional 30% off if you get one for the brick and morter store.

Finally got to Kmart tonight. I did find a few things so it was worth the trip. I got 2 Breyer horse classics for $5.50 each. A nice Barbie case for $7.50 and a Barbie horse and carriage for $10. I had a few other things in my cart from that section but they would ring with the additional 50% off. I had a set of tadoodles for the grandbaby, a pet shop pen that had some kind of little car with it and two craft type kits. I did not get these because they would not give me the extra 50% even though all of these were on the same isle in the toy section with the signs. Oh well DD will love the Barbie stuff. Thanks OP

We make a lot of candy to give away at the holidays. I have been thinking about making some of them earlier and freezing to save time later. I would dip them later.

My DD is 7 and still plays with her Leapster. Last year we got her a camera for her big gift. (She has taken excellent care of it and uses it often) This year she seems to want the Barbie camper, so I am watching for a sale.

I don't like shopping at the K-marts around me, but if I can't get the play-doh sets at Target on clearance then I'll have to go soon. Thanks for posting your finds it is making it more tempting. When does the extra 50% off end?

Toys were the same here no additional markdowns yet. I did spy a Casio keyboard regularly $299 for $75. The summer stuff went to 50% here today too. Not much left but I did notice some croquet, and boccie sets that I hope to get at 75%. I don't think the grills are ever going on clearance here.

I'll check ours on the way home. Markdowns seem slow and I keep hoping for a few things to go down. The shoes for the dolls, jungle in my pocket etc. Thanks for posting and letting me know some Targets somewhere are marking things. I'll be Checking the Target on Hillcrest in Chesapeake VA

Third vote for Kohls. I usually get their brand when they are on sale, and the extra % off. We like them.

No trikes in the Hillcrest Target in Chesapeake, VA. One grill is 30% off but all the rest are reg price. LPS figures are at 50% off. I also saw the Backugan balls for 50% off. I know others have had those for a while but that was the first I have noticed them.
