My Dh thinks I am crazy but he has always been wiiling to watch the kids. Now that the kids are older I have a regular army for BF shopping. Hopefully my aunt is coming from MO for Thanksgiving and BF. I have gotten one of my co-workers hooked too but she goes by herself. My boss gives me money if she needs anything in the ads. The rest of my friends have made comments in the past so I just don't discuss it with them anymore. Its fun to come on here and "talk" to people who understand. My youngest DD is 7 and really wants to go shopping on BF. I have told her I would rather wait a few more years and then she can go too. I am calling her my "mini me"

Found a white kitchen aid mixer this morning for $140.00. Hoping it will go lower but someone else will probably get it. I just think I'll be able to beat that price on BF.

Finished one wreath and want to do more. Will probably get more ribbon this weekend. Until then DD and I are making the magnets. She is making them for her teachers. Where are you geting your ribbon??

I have DD's list in my purse. We do like others and whenever she shows me something she likes I write it down. I can pretty wll judge what she chooses and know what she will really play with. The list helps me know what to tell the grandma's and other relatives what to get, or what to give me money for so I can shop for them.

I have checked two Walmarts near me and have not seen them. I will check again. Thanks for the info.

Were the laptops offered online last year for BF?? Mine died last night, so unless it is an easy fix I will be looking.

As long as they all have great deals I am okay with earlier openings. I am surprised the are not opening at midnight like TRU does.

The problem with the Barbie camper is it seems to be basically at two places TRU in store and online, and Amazon.com both run about the same price. I have been watching both places for a sale but nothing so far. I know other places have it but the prices are ridiculous! I have checked all the B&M stores around here and no one else has it. It scares me a liitle and I am tempted to go ahead and buy it. They don't even have it on the Mattel website.

I don't usually post deals, but I am going to have to look and try now!!!

DD7 and I started on a ribbon wreath tonight. We are making it for Grandma Faith's birthday. It is a lot of fun so far. I am hoping we can make another for my mom's birthday as well.

Last year my mom did most of the wrapping and since her health has not been good lately it was not as enjoyable as other years for her. I would try to go over and help when I could but she always tries to do more than she should. So last week I ordered gift bags through the ABC catalog at work. I told her she can use the bags for some gifts to help cut down on what has to be wrapped. (She loves to make pretty wrapped packages) She said we would see, but I think when she gets tired and has a option she'll use the bags too.

Target at Hillcrest Chesapeake VA has one e-reader left at $74.00. School supplies went to 75% off, no backpacks and really picked over. Two nice size Casio keyboards were 30% off.

Good thought I will have to check. By the way does anyone have the Barbie Camper?? That is DD's number one request this year. The only BM store I have seen it is TRU.

A friend of mine bought it for her grandson's birthday and she said it he likes all the hexbug things she got him.

Thanks, she has shown them to me at the stores TRU and Michaels a couple of times. I wasn't sure they would actually work. Sounds like I should keep looking!!

Bought the things needed to make the magnets. they had the marbles on sale at Michael's for $.99 and I had a 50% off coupon for the glue. I do still need to get the magnets. DD and are excited about starting those. I love the snowman ornaments. I am going to make some of those too I think, and I want to share the idea with DD's teacher.

Chesapeake VA, has brown dots for 50% now and the e reader finally went 50% off. No wagons here but I am still hoping to find one. 200 count sheet, queen size was 7.48.

I thought this thread could be used to share opinions on various toys, so that none of us waste money on toys that just do not work. DD loves to do crafts so I was thinking about getting (or letting grandma get) a pottery wheel. Has anyone else bought one? What is your opinion of it? I read some reviews on Amazon but they were varied and I was not impressed.

E-readers here with only a few left are still price $104.00. Brown dots were still 30% off. Summer pool type toys were 50%, school supplies were only 30% off and not all were included.
