Is the laptop any good?

I think they were cheaper last BF at Target. probably a different brand.

Is there an impact on sale? Details if possible?? TIA

TRU has the Barbie Camper with the family for about the same price as the camper without the family. I decided to go ahead and get it. I got the $10.00 gift card with the purchase, a free Barbie case type thing that is suppose to retail for $24.99(I would not pay that but since it was free...) and I used my Rewards r Us so I should receive 10% of the purchase back eventually. I have never received an ad but my mom did so I used her coupon and this morning I went to Dollar Tree and bought a paper so we would have another coupon. This is the one item DD has consistantly asked for and looked at so I am relieved to have it!!

Our family seems to change every year. This year I have my first grandson and 1 new nephew (both will actually turn 1 just before Christmas) Kids have been getting married and that means extra gifts to buy as well. Plus I still have the 7 year old. This year everybody is buying for the babys but they set their own budgets for that. Everyone else draws names and we set a limit for that of $25-$35 for a gift. I buy for everyone. Anyway figure your budget and tell your sister. Make sure you tell her before she starts buying gifts. Make sure she understands that you want her to cut back on her spending as well. I would think she would be happy to have the extra to spend on her own children.

I would dress up as a fairy godmother, so I could make all of our BF wishes come true..bibity bobity boo!!

It seems like they marked up the walking pup or am I thinking wrong. I was hoping the Barbie 2 wheel scooter was going to be in the ad but I did not see it. (Its the one you can attach a Barbie )

I would love to get that 20% coupon!! When I get home from work the first thing I ask DH is iif I got any catalogs in the mail, so far nothing but maybe tonight. By the way I have a great boss who does not mind me checking this site as long as share the info with her!!

Some things I have gotten my dad the past few years He is a retired Marine, so I got a throw, a chair and a scrapbook album for his pictures with the Marine corp emblem on them. Coveralls for working on the car and one of those things that roll under the car and a magnetic pick up tool Wireless mouse and keyboard I would really like to get him a blue ray player and some movies this year but it will depend on the price. He wants a ladder.

Thanks Brad. I have be debating a purchase but now this little incentive is the motivation to go ahead and do it.

Things I try to do every year 1. Drive through neighborhoods to see the lights 2. Christmas movies (all the old cartoon ones) 3. Order pizza the night we decorate the tree 4. One gift gets set out on Christmas Eve so she has something to play with Christmas morning along with her stocking. 5. Make Candy and cookies 6. Make gifts or shop for grandparents 7. Buy or make an ornament

Digital picture frame and then fill it with pictures of the past and present. Blanket with a photo of her children or grandchildren or both. Tickets to a play she may want to see and then you take her and spend the evening together.

I use this too. It was a big help last year. I would like to put the sale ads in a binder and may try to this year. I keep the master list but we spread out so I make store list for each person that is heading out.

I wish I could watch more than I do!! Usually start after Thanksgiving but I may move that up this year

I don't know much but I do know that if the acoustic guitar is made with solid wood then the guitar sound improves with age and playing. I like the brand Seagull. Every guitar we have bought from them has been good quality. We have not bought a new one for a few years now so I am not sure of the price.

I like the idea too. After 6 EST and any day works except Wednesday and Sunday.

DD wants to go but she is only 7 and I don't feel she is ready yet. I told when she is 10 we will talk about it, she thinks that means she will go at ten (probably will) but I will still back out if I feel the need. I still think its the parent's choice and would not think badly of someone who brings their child. I don't know their individual situation.

I only saw 4 in stock on Saturday, plus I have noticed if the toy book has it they generally don't have it on BF at least at TRU.

Probably not but if you can they may let you divide up the purchase into 3 sets, and you can get three gift cards that way.

If he still enjoys the legos then that is what I would get him. I want to be able to buy toy type things for as long as possible.

Dh and I went to Best Buy last Saturday. I wanted him to look at computers and e-readers with me. I love and want the Ipad. DD7 was with us and said,"Momma, do you spend enough money on me at Christmas that I can get an Ipad?" NO, momma can't spend that much. 'Well are you going to get one?" Not right now, I'll have to save the money. "Then could you save enough to get me one next Christmas, cause I don't think I can save that much by myself?? There are time when I am so tempted to go in debt!!!
