If he has a large family, grandparents, aunts, and uncles) buying for him he will not need much else. I would suggest something small like a book and then put the rest of the money in a bond or a savings account for him.

Do you or Will you do reconnaissance on Wednesday before Black Friday?

No, I have to work that day and start cooking that night so I won't have a chance to. -

I got a gift card for the candles last week and had planned to turn right around and use it for another purchase, but they said I could not use it till the next day. Do you think this will be the same?

I have five adult children of which 4 are married, and a dd6. All six of my kids and the four in-laws draw names. I call them and ask them if they want to be in the gift exchage, if they say no that is fine and it does change from year to year. I try to stay out of their affairs so I don't ask why I just respect their decision. I have had to cut my budget more than half for Christmas this year. It makes me sad but the kids (all but DD6) totally understand the financial strain.

Cash, Credit, Debit, Check, Giftcard... How will you be paying on BF?
Elmck replied to AudreyNicole's topic in 2009
I'll use Credit at Kohls to get the extra off (pay it when I get home) The rest I hope will be cash. -
TRU also has one for $49.99 on BF
-
Sports Authority has some Dallas Cowboy items some even on clearance, I would check them out online.

So far the Nikon is winning your recommendations, and I will go and read the reviews soon too. -

Radio Shack has the Casio Exilim for $89.99 and Target has the Nikon Coolpix for $88.00. The one at Radio Shack has a free Polaroid picture printer and the one at Target can help go for the $10 gift card. I did not want a camera that takes batteries. I actually need to buy 2 of them. One is for DIL and one is for my 6 year old. DIL does not care about color DD6 would love the pink but she could deal with red too. -
I don't think they will, if you read the print in between the pages it looks like they are not accepting any returns during this time and I think this is what they do to price match. You should call your local TRU to be sure though.
-
If I honestly thought I'd get it I would check it out, but I do not think it will happen. Mom and Dad are cutting back, and most of my kids are newly married and struggling to make it, DD6 doesn't have that much in her piggy bank. This thread is making me greedy too, I dreamed I got a Cricut Expression.

You can still use all of them they take expired and you can stack them too. I need to check our local one and see if they are offering the same deal. Thanks OP -
A Wii with a wii fit. (I don't know if I would really lose weight with it, but it would be fun to try.)
-
Thanks, I don't want to waste money and it sounds like I would be. unfortunately the other is out of budget. No worries, there are still plenty of things on her list!
-
I don't think they will let you, somewhere on the ad I was reading about no returns during the sale hours, and I am thinking that is why. What do you make of it??
-
We have the imaginarium one from TRU. I believe its on sale for $99.99 right now and there are some coupons you can use too. I know you can get a $10.00 for spending $75, but there may be more. DD is 6 and got this last Christmas. She loves it, plays with it a few times a week or more and it still looks brand new.
-
I might have to try this too.

We the older ones were little we did equal presents, because we went around the room and everybody watched the one opening his or her gift, they would have been upset if they finished to many presents ahead. If they got an expensive present I would use really inexpensive items to fill in.

Barbie printable nail salon???
Elmck replied to momee2twins's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
My DD has asked for the camper too but she saw the barbie jet at Kohls tonight and got excited about it so that is probably the route I'll go (BF price $29.99) -
Kohls has a Singer on BF for $49.00 if you have the coupon for 15% that makes it $41.65, the add something for $10.00 more if you want and get $10.00 in Kohls cash for the next week.

I think the Barbie jet will be big.
