  5. I ordered the unicorn for DD7
  6. I have to do 13 stockings. I am trying really hard to keep cost down. I have promised myself that I won't spend over $8 per stocking. I have gotten a lot of free stuff from Harbor Freight. (coupon in Sunday paper) and I used two coupons fron Office Depot for $10 off $20 (they had lots of dollar stuff) I have saving coupons for gum and candy to try to make that cheaper. Someone I know was given some free shaving cream and razors and gave them to me. Michaels had things like ice cream scoops and other things for $.10 to $.30 last Saturday too. So stocking are almost done I think!! YEAH On Black Friday I have saved up almost $900. But I just spent $100 on Kohls.com so now I am down to $800. It sounds like a lot to me but I have 6 kids with 4 of them being married. parents, brother and SIL plus nephew. Thats just the imediate family. I am working on the budget now.
  7. I tried OCT30OFF and OCT15OFF - neither worked for me just now.[/quote SAVING30 works I had to try twice because the first time it only took 15% but the second time it worked right.
  8. Got a few more presents from Kohls.com today. I got DD the unicorn pillowpet, and a ladybug jewelry box. Got DGS and Nephew the Lil snoopy dog, and some things for my boys that I can't list because some of them come on this site.
  9. Bath toys, sippy cup, small books, ball, personalized spoon and fork, stuffed animal,
  10. You could also do gifts that are things to do. For example we get DD a zoo pass for her BD. If there are places to go and do then spend at least some of the money there. You could also do some gift cards to stores they like, so when they need something new you won't have to spend more money, they can use the gift card. If they like to read you can do magazines they would get a new issue every month. I don't know if theaters offer gift cards but that would give them something to do too. I am considering getting DD horseback riding lessons for her BD this coming year. There are endless possibilities. I also agree with previous posters, about no debt, I learned the hard way but I have learned.
  11. Thank You!!
  12. I am hoping to get the decorating done the weekend before Black Friday.
  13. If you do not care about name, then you can get some fairly inexpensive sets. Target and Kohls both had them last year.
  14. So far I have not been able to get the code to work on anything I have put in my cart. Am Idoing something wrong. I have tried Catherines and Fashion Bug for the 15 off 20 and so far nothing that I want works. Any hints from the experts??? PLEASE!!!!!!!
  15. 1. shopping carts on strike in front of Target, protesting Black Friday overload abuse! 2. 18. Warning pro coffemaker in Chesapeake was 17.48 but it was 75% off. Thanks Katie 811 for posting the deal. I got it for a family memeber to give to another ffamily member who wanted a programable one.
  19. When my kids left home I gave them the stockings they have had since babyhood and a box of ornaments that had their name on them and some they had made. They were thrilled. If they are home for Christmas, I do them a stocking (I just use a different one now) but if they can't come they still have memories of home with them.
  20. Chesapeake (hillcrest) Target had the Suinkies sets this morning I saw two types of bubble gum ones and a tea pot one. No monster high or lalaloopsy dolls. The did have quite a few zoobles too and those liitle aquarium sets.
  21. Quick question do you all use paypal to pay? I was going to use Debit but I don't like giving those 3 numbers on the back. Opinions???
  22. I have felt this about my adult kids in the past and do for DD7 now. However, I just cleaned her bedroom last weekend and plan to do her toy room in the next few weeks so I'll have recently seen how much she really does have. I don't buy her a lot of things throughout the year, she just takes really good care of her toys so they all last and she really does play with them too. I hope to limit the amount this year but ask me if I succeeded on Dec 26;)
  23. Thank you!!
