I agree that games make great gifts for this type of gift. One year we did a basket of different flavored syrups we found at TJ Max , pancake mix, and a couple of hot pads from Wal-mart. The last time they visited we took them to buy some of their favorite flavors.

I am interested in the Sony Handycam for $249.00 Do you think this will be a hot item. If my parents and I combine funds we can get this for DS & DIL but this will be it. DGS is due Dec 2 so I think they would like it but not 100% sure.

Have you thought about getting him something to do (zoo pass or just tickets, baseball game tickets etc), instead of a toy. Maybe a giftcard to a favorite fast food place. Barnes and noble has some cute sets. One teaches them how to fold paper airplanes

How about a Barnes and Noblle Gift card. They could get him books (1 a month maybe) My DD is 6 but she has always liked being read to.
