Hillcrest store in Chesapeake, VA is 50% on Christmas but no signs at the dollar spot. What color is being marked down?? I hope to stop in the morning.

She also loves the MP3 player from DD's DH.( he had her name) They even took her favorite CD's and loaded them so it was ready when she got it.

By the time I get it all put away I feel better. I am thankful that I had most of my kids with me this year and my parents, brother and his wife too. Life does seem to slow down a lot after Christmas, but for me I think it's more the shorter days, and cold weather that make me blah!!.

I am doing 15 stockings this year. I did a lot at the Target clearance sales and dollar spot sales. Office depot had some good coupons out that I used too. A few freebies, oh and Michaels had a sidewalk sale and I got everything from ice cream scoops to off brand little pony figures for 10 to 30 cents. Except for DD7's stocking I tried to keep all stockings under $10. DD7 has one of those huge stockings from the dollar tree. It will be filled with puzzles, little pony figs, paperronis, craft items, candy, BBW, ear muffs, sidewalk chalk, notepads, etc My DS20 gets more excited about the stocking than he does his gifts.

I have ordered coffee mugs for the grandparents from DD7 with her picture on them from the online photo department. They were suppose to arrive on the 21st but are still not in. I am getting worried!! Has anyone else not have an order come in yet?? I did contact customer service and they said call the store they were shipped to. I did but they say they don't have them either. Tracking says shipped should arrive between the 17th and the 21st.

I got DGS1 another outfit, DD7 some ear muffs and loves baby soft perfume, and my DFIL some hankerchiefs. I saw more I wanted to buy but I resisted!! I hope they do another one after Christmas, especially if it includes all that this one did. I wanted a money clip too but they said it did not qualify.

We don't cook a Christmas dinner. We have the big breakfast, so for the rest of theday we have chicken nuggets from chick-fil-a, ham rolls assorted cheeses and crackers, veg tray with dip , cookies and candy. If some gets hungry they just grab something.

I think I have spent about 1200. I had my Christmas Club and then took more each week out of my pay since I got it.

I think the ski lessons are a great idea. DD and her DH are going to visit the grandparents in Reno NV to go sking in Feb 2011, and have never been I wish I had thought of this.

Way to many people to list, plus a lot of them come on this site too!! I can share what I got DD7 though Barbie camper, Nook, electric blanket, Uno tipo, Snuggie, raincoat and rainboots, regular boots, clothes, doll clothes and shoes, bryer horses, horse and carriage for barbie, Barbie case, Some other case for Barbies that was free with camper, flexibles, plue her stocking is huge!! I think I am forgetting things too, but thats the majority of it. I have 5 other grown children and 4 of them are married and I have a DGS that just turned 1. Brother, SIL, Nephew plus my parents. i am happy with what I have for everyone though. My oldest DD will be the most excited with her gift though!!

I need to grocery shop. I would like to get a few more stocking stuffers for my DFIL but it depends on time. I am 90% done wrapping, and what I have left is boxed and ready to wrap. Still need to make candy and finish those marble magnets for a few friends. UGHH!! Now that I wrote this I realize I still have a lot to do!!!! Oh well, its all fun stuff anyway!!

Our family does a big Christmas breakfast. Eggs fried and scrambled, sausage, bacon, and fried fatback, gravy, homemade biscuits, fried apples, and pancakes. I know I am forgetting something. DD7 and I spend next week with my parents so we can enjoy Christmas together. While we are cooking and waiting for the grown kids and their families to arrive DD7 opens her stocking. After breakfast we take our time opening gifts one person at a time. The rest of the day we just snack.

card games, deodarant, favorite candy and gum, mens body wash, wallet, school supplies, hat My boys are all older now but my almost 20 year old asked me if I was doing stockings this year. He would be highly disappointed if I said no. They look forward to their favorites and a few surpizes.

cologne, wallet, belt, watch, something from favorite sports team, bed lamp, books, small tool set, tickets to something in your area, lounge pants,...

My CVS was out of the regular ZHU ZHU pets. They did have the babies though. I used the coupon Patty gave the link to and got 4 babies for under $8.00.

Checked the website of my local store on Tuesday and it said they opened at 8:00 AM. Called the store on Tuesday ( they had been leaving messages for me to pick up an order) Told them I checked their website and saw they were open at 8 and I would be there when the doors opened to picked up my order, gave my name etc... Went there this morning checked the sign on the door it also said they opened at 8:00. The"manager" said sorry it's a misprint we don't open till 9:00. If I did not need that order for a gift I would so cancel. I live 45 minutes away and its 20 minutes out of my way to work. I have to be at work by 9:00. I e mailed corporate but all I have heard so far is they are busy and will try to get back to me in a few days. So beware if you check the website or the card on the door of your Pennys they might not mean what they say!!

Their site has had some trouble lately. Call in your order and it should go through.

Some suggestions Let them earn some money(special chores for you or grandparents), go to an angel tree and let them choose someone (The angel trees in our area only ask for clothes and shoes), or call social services to see if there are any families left. Let the boys choose what to buy with their money. Serving dinner in a homeless shelter is a good idea too. Take them to the hospital to pass out cards, or gifts for those who will have to spend Christmas in the hospital Nursing homes also appreciate visits, you can call some in your area to see what the needs may be.

I went to CVS last Saturday and was told I could not get the deals dated for that day because they had already switched the deals to those that were suppose to start Sunday. Then when I thought okay I'll get those deals I was told the truck had not come in yet so the deals I wanted were not available!! Frustrating and may keep me out of the store on BF
