If we want to save a spot we usually either make sure to tell the people around us so they know and sometimes we bring chairs and put them out so people see the spots saved. We have never had anyone get mad at us.

One of my DIL's bought something from Sear the other night. She said she watches the commercial for it. It's some kide of cloths that absorb super amounts of liquid or spills. She got a mop with it and 2 packs of the cloths for $20 the did an informercial (I guess you call it) in the store

I am trying to get the plan in place but I still have not finalized my list and I need to see who wants to go where in our group. I know that we need someone at Sears, Kohls, Best Buy, Walmart, Michaels, JoAnns, and Kmart. My DIL wants me to go to TRU with her too. I must be crazy because I'll probably do it.

I'll let my dad know he just purchased doors and did not get the discount.

Turkey, Ham, mash potatos, baked mac and cheese, potato salad, stuffing, deviled eggs, green beans, collards, candied yams, succotash, cranberry sause, rolls, gravy, watergate salad, fruit salad, pumpkin pie, chocolate pie, lemon pie, coconut pie, coconut cake, Mom and I do most of the cooking. This is the first year I have asked my DD and DILs to bring a dish. We usually have enough leftovers to send some home with everyone too.

Your mom sounds fun to me!! I wish my parents would be as excited about Christmas. I guess that could get expensive though. You need a really good hiding place. One year I marked my kids packages by color not by name so they did not who each present was for. I had one who could shake his present s(no matter how I disguised it) and could guess what it was. That way she would not know which present to open.

There is no way I would line up this early for any thing advertised in an ad. My time is more valuable than the money I would save. That said I am hoping to get a few things from Best Buy too.

Change the view from normal to single it helped me a lot.

Most of my grown children have finished their contract phones and have switched to these phones. They like them and they get more for their money. Plus if they run out of minutes they don't pay penaltys they just get a new card. Most them buy the $30 card each month. I think this gives the 900 minutes and 1000 text.

I believe I bought the sony one last year for DS and DIL. They had just become parents earlier that month, and I wanted them to be able to record all the first. At first DS was a little disappointed because this was the main gift but now he says he loves it and enjoys watching some of those first now. The camera works great and is user friendly.
