all he would have to do is wait a lil bit and there will be pleanty of darn snow for sure. but snowmen (fake even ) might be a good idea as his truck actually already says on " snow commander " on the bed of it. it came with that on it from the factory, but he has taken off the plow. and is putting some lift kit on it. personally i dont get it.. buys the truck at a decent price, and is sinking ALL his money into" dolling her up" more ideas will be good to. i might suggest he mix them up too. or we have to figure out how to make snowmen. he dont want to copy blow up ones as its the same idea as the kid doing blow up decoration

i never heard of this.. then again i would reuse old lights and just add to them.. so i likely never paid attention to that

this is going to sound so redneck its not funny..lol the boys all have classic trucks and it is their sr. year in high school. they have decided to decorate their trucks for christmas..any ideas.. so he wont copy the others... one has a artificial tree with presents one has a huge blow up decoration, somehow powered from battery one has fake reindeer i think one is doing lights. whats left for adam to do without copying the blow up idea?

you can use a laundry basket, or bucket, or an oil pan as a basket, i did this for an auto basket..

what wonderful ideas or even traditions did you gain from this site, and have done or still do? i do the Christmas pickle game , heard here.. its now a tradition of ours.Everyone loves it also i have picked up the present in the boots/shoes on dec 6th as well as loving the calendar with gift cards in it relating to each month. i am certain there is a LOT more ..but those came to the top of my head ..

we would deliver presents to friends,and tenants . and then go to dinner .. also would look at lights and go to midnight mass.

my sil was a bit upset ... except her thing was she ordered some things and instead of coming in boxes.. the company just stuck a shipping label on the items. and her kids saw them getting off ups truck. ruined her santa gifts!

ok i didnt last long at all.. thank you to my SS!! i got santa salt and pepper shakers.( how amazing as i sent snow man ones to my ss as part of her gift too:), and thought they were so cool!! now i have santa ones!! and i got work pout gloves.a foldable canteen and 2 bookmarks..

if you had it gft wrapped you can open it instead of trying to wait till xmas. this way you know for sure its your ss/... lol not maybe bags.

this could happen on a bike,or roller blades ect,.... i would still rather kids want and actually use this more so then isolating and wanting a video game.. side thought is this will bea phase thing...and noone will be wanting them once the 'newness' and hype wears off.

wow...this is so true!! and time may be as valuable to them of not more so maybe you can visit and even bring cupcakes .. as they may not get a visitor.. however the flip side is ... be prepared for what you might get if you visit.. ( first im not sure if the facility will allow it) but you may get someone who is cranky.(as they kinda have a given right to be) or that does not have a clear mind.. be prepared as if it smells bad there, remember they have to live with that smell all day and night! better yet think... maybe someone you KNOW might be in this situation where they really would appreciate a visitor!!

thanksgiving is not at my house.. oddly when it use to be... i cooked it all.. did not have anyone bring anything.. and we had 30+ people.. now its at my brothers house, and once it moved from my house , the idea was mentioned that everyone should bring one item so one person doesn't cook it all. so not sure of the menu.i am waiting to see what others are bringing to decide what i will.
