was finally above freezing today for a while. but not for long.. better then the negative degrees.

i am actually shocked that the month of December lost anyone. That is one of the most common months in GottaDeal. with people shopping for the deals all month. and this month likely will still be fresh in peoples minds. but anyhow ... happy new year everyone.. my new years resolution is to change NOTHING and stay the same wonderful person i am. i am already motivated, inspirational, caring,helpful, there for those who need me, ect. i already go to the gym daily, eat mostly healthy, and volunteer and do the best i can do!

received ...a very nice 42 in tv.(not hung yet , i am waiting for bracket extenders for the mount),real diamond carrot ear rings,among other things... but the gift that meant more was an all in one printer. i fax on a weekly basis and used a very outdated fax machine. someone thought to notice and purchased 5 in 1 printer. i ended up using the printer the very next day to print out a label to return a laptop that when it was opened there were back stripes along the bottom. had to mail it back and they will be sending a replacement.needed to print the label. given.... would be cab mounts and floor boards for Adam's truck...he has a classic truck he drives and the top is NOT connected to the bottom! now the truck will actually be one piece and safe~~

i opened my secret santa today ..thank you Secret santa!.. and what a cute idea.. i received a rose made from a book.. never heard of such a thing! and now wish i opened it earlier so i could have looked these up, and made the map ones for someone who made a whole room with globe decor! but i will make them for him for some other occasion.. here is directions on how to make them ourselves!! http://www.instructables.com/id/Book-Page-Roses/ .. i also received a candle that smells like paper back books?? who would of thought there is a scent for them? to bad i cant share a scent with you all!

here too!!! everyone is sick/hes been sick/getting sick!! that said, i am glad to have the head start i had. and don't feel like doing anything.. but will wrap some last minute wrap stuff and i got two items delivered today that were not suppose to come till tues! so i unwrapped the notes saying it is on its way, and wrapped the items! . today i will get the ingredients needed for things i am making for 3 Christmas days( doing Christmas eve at one place and 2 different ones christmas day.. VERY happy to be involved and have many places to go!!! i feel so blessed ..

this was NOT a good email to read.. lol here i thought i was done shopping.. and just waiting on a few packages.. i get an email saying they cancelled the order .claiming someone posted it without sellers permission.. odd as he poasted 3 different ads same item..!. now to find a replacement in time for xmas!! ANYONE EVER have this happen?

yikes!!! i thought i was close to done with shopping.. but just got a bunch of things added that i need to get,i have a couple more items and then i should be done shopping.. but tomorrow we have a fund raiser breakfast so i will finish the shopping right after that.. (if i am well enough.. i got sick at the worst time) still waiting on a few packages ,plus a daily deal package that has several gifts in it!!! that was suppose to be here Decmber 4th..uggg.. wrapping... ummm.. i am doing ok.. i do have a closet i threw stuff in that i bought before black friday,, i still have to go through that and find the items and wrap those , plus a few here(maybe 10) and also the ones that didn't come yet.. but i feel like the wrapping is under control.. i might take some time off the gym and since i am sick ill just wrap and catch up.. as for baking i don't do much holiday baking.. and good thing .. cause i am to sick to be touching food to much.

ok.. before the one at walmart went on sale i bought 2 of a different brand(costed a bit more and had better reviews) one for myslef, and one for DS ..well well.. so much for better reviews.. I had it up and running and someone thought we placed a huge to facing out the window.. but it was bright enough for sure.. major downfall was no audio output .. so we either had to hard wire a speaker or just have the movie play inside.. no sound outside..(unless you live some place you can open the windows in the winter.. NOT doing that here!!lol anyhow i now bought the disney one.. and will give the "better , more expensive " one to someone who lives in Fla. as the disney one has an audio plug.

wow .. i guess i am blessed... or i just ordered to much this year, and my ups people like me..?? not only do they knock .. they have even brought my packages inside my house and lined them up for me against the wall..!!! made small talk ..ect.

yikes i would be so scared if i didnt even start.!! i think i am half way done and still don't see how i will finish in time. not even done getting all the items!!!never mind wrapping them. but am now gonna stick to buying 1 order a day .. and wrapping a bunch when i can.. (in hopes to get ahead, as i have already fallen behind my original goal of wrapping daily)

odd.. my birthday is this month , and i didnt get any. and i shop a LOT at kohl's.. i did get $65. in yes points to spend this month though...

this month will be easy as everyone is still around.. i imagine maybe march the count might drop

well.. they might have a camera on the golf cart.. and i think it is easier for the thief to grab off a porch then to hurry and grab off golf cart.

i am about half way done. hopefully i keep it up! still have shopping to do and items on the way.. but have plenty left to do with whats here.

the ironic thing is it wasnt even in the actual BF ad. and wasnt 29. on the site either. i also read some reviews and many said it is not bright and you cant even see it .. i ordered one from a different company with different reviews ..

i was going to go to the parade tonight.. it is a christmas parade my State has . Chris is a firefighter , so he came home and told me about it after they were decorating the fire trucks.. every town (that wants to be in it) decorates their fire trucks and all the fire trucks o to the parade. oddly this town only had 2 people in the parade in sept.(chris and one other) but i guess more go to the christmas one...

ohhh good thing i read all the replies. i read it quickly and thought posting on the SITE every month did the trick .. it has to be this specific post. i also hope people will stick around and maybe post on the other sections too,as in the off months there is a LOT less traffic.. even the summer "secret santa" is much less active then the current one. actually come to think of it is this forum still active through out the year? or does it go away with the black friday ones?

well its 3:35 and i am just finishing shopping for today/tonight.. and to think tomorrow is black friday( well actually today .. but i didnt sleep yet, so in my eyes still tomorrow)

i posted some instructions(likely not the best description) on wrapping presents with a butter knife.. i dont mind it being taken down, but someone had responded and was going to try it.. so they might want it...if they do and you want me to repost it i can.. but it dont show up to copy..

i guess i like to wrap cause you see the accomplishment when done..or when i have packed a box of wrapped gifts up,to put away till Christmas . i wrap.. seldom do i use a bag. though like others if its a HUGE item i will put it in a bike bag.though i have actually wrapped a few refrigerator size boxes in the past. i try to wrap as i go.. or dedicate a certain number of gifts to do a night/day..(then double it as i realize i have fallen behind..lol) where i wrap wll depend on the size of the item.. the last few years i have had some help.. best thing is when one was watching me wrap and not paying attention ,as they were wrapping something else on the floor.. and then when i was done they saw me write their name.lol i wrap EVERYTHING , no specific paper or theme.. i dont know how those with certain paper keep up.. i never tried it.. and to late this year. lol due to the amount of presents i normally wrap a year, i dont bother with bows or decoratiosn other then the paper. i will add a little odd thing i thought was the way everyone wraps.. till people have given me odd looks when they see my set up.. no scissors . i use a butter knife to cut the paper... and usually the back side. i measure the paper to the inch .. and use all the scraps on smaller gifts.
