same here... mine say they were delivered Monday as well...but there was no post saying received... i just assume the people have not gotten around to opening them ,or posting them yet...though one may have been "taken in by a boyfriend..lol"

i sent mine out shortly after thanksgiving... so far i received 8 cards from this gd family

presents are all bought but 2...(unless of course something else pops up") id say wrapping is 60% done,with whats here...but expecting several deliveries soon.I WILL catch up soon.. when i have time to dedicate to turning on the xmas music and wrapping...i actually enjoy it...i find it relaxing. usually will ave some baking being done while wrapping too. we just put up tree..didn't even finish decorating it...usually i do the whole thing the weekend after black friday.. i have a 3 foot tall one in my bedroom, and i think that will be MY focus tree this year..this year has been odd for the decorating...i started before thanksgiving,yet am so far behind now.i have a feeling i wont decorate to the fullest this year.Oddly ...im ok with that... not doing any outdoor decorations this year.

not sure...i was thinking maybe that breakfast sandwich press/maker? or a thing i had years ago, it was intended to make grilled sandwiches,and cut them in half. i thinki used it 5 times if that...

how rotten!!! can you contact those 3 people? hopefully they have good reasons too...and /or have already shipped and just failed to tell you.

those are horrible... i dont think it it suppose to be garbage . my understanding of white elephant gifts are similar to a grab bag gift. its a chance to regift something if you have something like that..or to get something that is an awesome deal,so there is a higher value item then what is required. whats the price range your trying to fill?

xbox live had so many deals last year ,i didnt grab it at 35.now i dont see any more deals this year,as of yet...cheapest i see now is 45. i assumed with the big rush for xbox one there would be more deals...or at least same as previous years

i know i dont know why i wasnt thinking...i wish i did wrap them.. once i opened mine i stopped and was like opppps thinking it could even be a requirement sorry to my receiver,i almost want to say who...so they know it wont be wrapped... same for an *extra * i sent ....

at this point i am so close to done... maybe 2 gifts left to decide/buy. but then now i think about how long is left for me to see the great deals... and i doubt ill be "done"...

ok....how can anyone stick to the" something they want, something they need, something to wear, something to read" with gottadeal here? i have wanted to do that for 2 years...but the shopping and deals drag mein...and then i have gone past it... i will also go past a budget, but the outcome is wonderful from all the super deals.

I dont know what to say... i get in the funk wen Christmas is OVER.!!!! i love this time of the year...and i have not yet had the negative things that seem to bring it down...and for that im grateful. when kids get to old ,i still play it off ...granted they KNOW ,but they play along... i enjoy the Christmas movies,the music(no other music is played in the vehicle till after Christmas), the decorating and seeing others decorations..( i have never decorated myself... i get others involved..one of the enjoyed things is letting someone bring in the mail and watching them hang the Christmas cards on the wall. if there is no decorated tree up...santa dont come...) i even enjoy the wrapping. and feeling of accomplishment as i write down what i wrapped on the lists of for who.. i enjoy driving around looking at lights/displays others put out.. all i could say is try to enjoy the time. again i can say that ,but if i had a death close to me i am not sure howi would cope at christmas... and my thoughts go out to those of you who have to deal with that!

awesome idea!!! i once did flowers for a girl with the gift cards stuck in as flowers...and a wallet with gift cards...i LOVE this idea...and i think i will borrow the idea as well...i almost didnt even read this post...very glad i did...i think i will make refrence toit on the what to buy a teenage boy post....

i just realized that maybe we were suppose to wrap the gifts? i just put the items in the box unwrapped. so if my receiver wants to wait to open,she would have to wait to open the box. sorry. i should have wrapped them i guess.

i never had amazon prime...i end up ordering things to make the 35 (was 25) to get the free shipping...it still comes pretty fast ,even without the prime..

My opinion is not just based on my own experience ,but other family members reports. many have said how its not the same,and i have to agree. making black friday actually be on Thursday took away from the whole experience. i am also concerned that it not only took from black friday,but may have taken some from thanksgiving and family time. granted my family still got together for the meal,and some quality family time,but even in our case i think people left a bit earlier then normal, however none were as excited to be shopping as in previous years. i dont know if it was good for retailers. may have been safer though. however they now may have lots of stock piles and less crowd trying to push the rush. All in all,i cant determine why,but i do feel the last couple years have seem to gone down... might be me,more online availibility,ect..or many other factors, but this year seemed to really drop interest. though on a side note... i did go out today...wore my gd shirt, one of the managers at one store.was trying to use his iphone to scan the square and see where it brought him.

i am wondering/hoping it is that they are very busy. i placed an online order on black friday at kohls... i waited ,and my kohls cash didnt come in the email... so i did other things looked again at about 1 am... only to find i still did not get a email about this order or the kohls cash.. sooo..... i look in my order history and it isnt there!! at this point the items have all gone up in price! i am still hoping that it will show up Monday when they are there...i did however contact the online customer service...waiting for the reply, do you guys think my order will show eventually?

i didnt get to go out this year,but others said it was less crowded. however funny thing is a black friday virgin went out and came back reporting to us how busy it was and said it had to be the worst year... we all laughed,an a seasoned black friday shopper,was back in between stores(waiting to go back out at 3 am..) was at the same store and just finished saying how empty it was. HOWEVER there was a line outside,as the walmart here was insisting on keeping capacity down...so when 10 people left,10 could go in.,..ect.
