wow i am glad i am not the only one...i am actually looking to buy something just to hopefully gt in the mood of shopping.. who ever thought i wouldnt be in the mood to shop!! but for some reaosn i dont even get happy looking at ads

i have most years. one year i was over board as i let someone who normally does a HUGE display do it on my lawn and use an extra 2 rooms for storage of his xmas decorations as he was moving and would not be able to set his display in the old place .. he normally collects food and donations as part of his work. this year nothing set up yet. and not sure what we will set up

is it just me? i am finding it not as fun, or hard to get into the shopping this year. maybe because its starting earlier? that said i have made a few purchases, but normally i am excited to do so. not this year. and its not for financial reasons. and certainly not cause life is to busy, as this pandemic makes it just the opposite. hopefully in time it improves.! anyone else feel this ?

shows what i know.. i always made my cart total the right number . never knew we could be a buck or two short. i would always get fillers.maybe a lip gloss or holiday themed hand sanitizer (though this year those would actually sell out.)

several.. from 2 xbox live 12 months. to socks,underwear pj for all of them..pop corn tins,,ect ...and also boots like op...

there was a list of hallmark movies somewhere? it was a photo of them .. now i wish i screen shot it..

I accidentally found a christmas movie about a fire fighter .. the 9 lives of christmas. being the mom of 2 volunteer fire fighters this is likely my new one.. but i have not watched it yet. saving it for friday

wow thats a horrible list to have those things .. but i say something personalized seems to be the hit right now.

HAHA this has been a battle .. i am wanting to decorate... but will hold off till the traditional dates.

well last year we had 2 special zumba party classes on bf . one EARLY to get people going. ad one later for after shopping and eating calorie burning.

i resent my list.. if i sent before(last month) use the other one as i was having trouble thinking of answers today.

i no longer have to worry as much about hiding. but i still try to hide so they dont see it or how much they are getting. but i keep a pen and paper list .. with whats wrapped . and who its for.

my best was when i was 13 . and got some water drop desk top thing from my dad. my parents were always together (and are still to this day) but my mom always did the buying and gift preparing. this was actually a gift my dad actually bought and WRAPPED (yikes lol) ad gave to me ... thats what made it special.. i still have it... or... the kids gave me a box.. in the box were pieces of a wing written on. each one had a clue of who it was from.. and each child wrote 5 different ones. we played a game where i had t guess who wrote each one.. mannnn it was tough . but fun .

i so wish it was like it was years ago.. i remember sitting with all the flyers around thanksgiving with family and every one was gonna be going different ways in am .. these last few years though we went shopping afte eating on thanksgiving day, it took away some of the fun of the lines .. this year God only knows what it will be like

no specific budget .. but afraid i wont do as much shopping ... then again i am sure covid fear cant stop me .

i did follow on facebook at one time, but have not seen any recent posts.. i will double check and make sure i still am following .. and for some reason not seeing posts?

ahh forget covid, ill be a covidiot.. and go out and see..

i love the contests , but also love the community that develops on gotta deal. thank you again brad, as this may be an odd year for GD .
