I got a rebate check for $20 today from Rebate Center located in Scottsdale, AZ. The only problem is I'm waiting on 5 $20 rebates and the jerks didn't print anywhere what the check is for! Most companies print a one liner as to what the check is for. This will make it more difficult to track down the dead beats when/if the time comes to start calling about status of each late rebate.....

I haven't got one this time.... Could it be because I only spent a little over $10 the last 3 times I got a card?

I found the coats today! The store had moved them to another part of the store... I hate it when they do that! The bad news is they were 40% off of 50%. How long will it take them to go to 75% off? Then I will have to wait for a 30% off of 75% sale!

The one that was 75% off yesterday is 90% off today. I cleaned out their candy marshmallow snowmen!

I shopped at 2 Dollar Generals today. One had 90% off Christmas items, the other was at 75% off and had the better selection. I guess I will go back to the one that was 75% off and hope they go to 90% off by the time I get there!

Just got 3 of 4 remaining Staples BF rebates today and another Staples one for a product I purchased a few days after BF.

I got my 2 BF Circuit City rebates today. Still have 4 Staples rebates to go.... I think this is the first time the Circuit City rebates came in first.

I reviewed my records from last year. If the pattern holds the rebate checks will start arriving in a week or so.

My local Dillard's didn't have a lot of good stuff left. For example, they had winter coats last year until the 30% off of 75% sale. This year all the coats disappeared after the 50% sale. Makes me wonder if they didn't pack them for next year....

Last week I got the Sharpie's and this week I got the Bic's. I won't need to buy markers for a while!

I have a love/hate relationship with mail in rebates. For example, a while back Officemax had 120 GB external hard drives for $39. No rebate so they sold out in seconds. Then there was the time Officemax had HP flatbed scanners for $5 after MIR. I got one of those on the last day of a week long sale! So, I'm willing to put up with MIRs because I'm more likely to get the item. But yeah, the cutting, scanning and tracking is not my favorite stuff to do....

I have used Google checkout several times with buy.com. Everything good until the last order. I ordered 1 Kensington PilotMouse Optical Wireless mouse for free after rebate on 12/17. So far buy.com has shipped me 3 of them!!!! My credit card has been charged once for $20. Can they come back and charge me for the other two later??? This could be a great deal if I get the rebate and they don't charge me for the other two!!!!

In the shopping center where I shop there is a Shoe Carnival next to Staples. This lady comes up to the front of the line (I was #5) and asked if this is the end of the line for Shoe Carnival. Stupid question since every one in line was facing Staples!

Did all CCs get the laptop? Rumor in the Staples line was that our local CC didn't get ANY laptops!

My local Ace Hardware was dead (5 cars in the parking lot!) around 07:45 Friday but they did have all the sales items I wanted.

Nothing! Got to Staples at 4:45 AM and was the 5th in line.

Missed out on the ADS Technologies external 3.5 hard drive enclosure kit for $4.99 at CC. But that is only because CC was the 6th store I stopped at! Staples was my first stop and I got all the stuff I wanted there.
