A little over $400 at Staples, $50 at Ace Hardware, $30 at CC.

That ad is a joke! Computer Tower with Keyboard and Mouse? I never viewed a worse ad for a computer system. Maybe it has a 486 processor with Windows 3.1???
-
My local paper never includes the weekly BB ad because the zip code I live in doesn't shop at BB (It is over 40 miles from here) but the Black Friday ad was included today!
-
The 4 small items I want do not have "in store only" next to them. They do have rebates. Will CC include the rebate forms if I have the items shipped? And the most important question.... What time will the sale start online? Midnight eastern time???
-
In my area you can get there about 45 minutes before opening because the long lines are at CC and Wal-Mart.

Yeah! And I get to save money too!!

National Weather Service Thanksgiving/Black Friday Forecast Issued

Thursday Night: Clear, with a low around 55. South southwest wind around 10 mph. Light windbreaker weather! -
Blank media (CDs and DVDs) and hard drives. I still have a few hundred blank CDs that were FAR. I'm glad I stocked up on those as no one is offering FAR CDs anymore.... Also I have 3 spare hard drives on hand from previous black Fridays. I might just skip the cheap hard drive this year!

I remember my first year at Best Buy. This is when they opened at 6 AM. I got there at 4 AM and was the first one! Those were the days....
-
Of course! A 15" LCD would be to hard on my eyes.

I like Circuit City's ad the best so far. HP Pavilion Desktop PC w/AMD Athlon 64 Dual-Core Processor 3800+ $499.97 Sandisk 1GB USB Cruzer Mini $3.99 I/O Magic 250GB External 3.5" Hard-Drive $39.99 Free 3.2 MP Polaroid Camera with Any $249+ Purchase FREE

What are the specs on this PC? I might be interested if it is dual core.

What do you do to entertain yourself while you're in line?
kfinto65 replied to brynnfromtheblock's topic in 2006
Depends on the people around me in line. I talk some and listen to my radio. -
Some of the ads released so far are for stores I will visit later in the day. I really want to see the ads for Wal-Mart, Circuit City, Best Buy and Staples so I can make my early morning plans. So yeah, I'm disappointed that more ads haven't been leaked yet!

Office Max was one of my favorites but with no FAR stuff I don't think I will be stopping there this year on BF. Maybe Staples will have some good deals....
-
Bah, Humbug! Those bell ringers get on nerves so I don't give them a penny!
-
Analog TV will still work great with satellite since it's not using the TV's tuner!
-
Same problem here. If I want all the ads I have to go buy a different paper...
-
I still have last year's 200 GB HD and DVD burner from Staples BF sale in the boxes and I'm looking forward to getting more! Am I sick or what? :) I buy all my spare equipment on BF!!! Now if I can get a good deal on some memory it will be time to put that equipment to use and build a new system since my spare system is dying....
-
What kind of deals do they usually have for BF?
-
If Best Buy has some great deals it will be Killeen, TX. Otherwise it will be Temple, TX.
-
BF 2002 I got an eMachines desktop for $99 AR at Best Buy. The funny thing is I didn't go for the desktop as it was listed at $299 in the ad. While waiting in line the store employees stated a second rebate was available which brought the price down to $99 so I grabbed one.
-
I look for the best deal and don't really worry how the product was made. What can I say? I like holding on to my money!
-
Leave at 3:30 AM and back home by 10:00 AM. Might leave earlier this year depending on the deals.
