The 2 CVS stores in Temple Texas has all Christmas items at 90% off. I bought a ton of candy canes for 9 cents a box!

If I had to bet I would guess Dollar General will take another week or two before they drop the Christmas candy to 75% off. It took them forever to drop the Halloween candy to 75% off but I finally got some good deals weeks after Halloween was over.

And that is where the best deals are!

My local CVS has a lot of Christmas stuff at 75% off. I bought 8 bags of candy. There is a whole lot of stuff left so I hope to get more at 90% off.

My local Walgreens didn't have any Christmas stuff left.

Anyone know when Family Dollar and Dollar General go to 75% off? Their Christmas candy is only 50% off.

When I shopped there years ago every book was 1/2 off. I would be still buying books from them but the nearest one now is over 70 miles away. I don't remember seeing many new books.

I didn't know they were still around. We lost the 2 local Half Price Book stores years ago.

I do a lot of rebates but will never do another one from eCost. I have been waiting for a $50 rebate that has been in "processing" status since July on a DVD burner. Another rebate for $15 for a multiple format memory reader has never been received. Do eCost rebates at your own risk!

I'm waiting on a $50 rebate from July. It is still "processing" so there is hope...

I got a big one at Family Dollar a couple of years ago for $10.

I get fake emails almost daily claiming to be from paypal. Just place your mouse pointer over the link and the true url will appear in the bottom left corner. I sometimes log on them and give them bogus credit card numbers.

I buy from the store with the lowest prices which means if I can't find something on sale I usually buy it at Wal-Mart. Excluding clothes of course. I never buy clothes at Wal-mart.
