I hit Staples today (way on the other side of town) and did pretty well. I usually find my best deals at Walgreen's or my Kroger affiliate grocery store (they have the 24 ct. Crayola crayons for .29 which is the best I've seen so far). I went to Office Depot yesterday but my store didn't get any of the .50 rulers. I picked up the folders and the Tug pencil sharpeners for .10. I really love those sharpeners and will go back later this week for more and also for the rulers. Now I need to find a good deal on Elmer's glue bottles and glue sticks! I said I wasn't going to even think about school until August but if the deals are out there now, then I'm going to take advantage of them.

70% off at Glenbrook today

Anybody in the FW area,Glenbrook had some patio stuff 70% off. Some chairs (2-4 in a box depending) also a few chair cushions.

In that funny,random way CVS has,there were a lot of items 75% off at my store. Of course,this is YMMV but they had a big telescope for $4.99; a mini-rotisserie (one of those little Set It and Forget It things) for $7.49; a ladies' spa set for $3.75; a plug in your car heated thermal mug for $1.99 and several Family Sized Halogen dinner cookers for $14.99. Oh,and still in the aisles,they had the rainboots 75% off! I got my little girl a pair for $3.25 but adults sizes were $4.99. They also had a cart full of vitamins for $3. Sometimes CVS is like a flea market lol!

So.Not.Ready. lol!

Lol,most shopping trips they lose money on me At first I thought it was going to be a GREAT coupon,but now I don't think so. I just saw on Twitter how one girl was excited because she just received the coupon too and she was going to use it for the $10 gas card (you know,when you purchase $30 in products). She needs to read the fine print on that coupon!

I got an email today for 30% off items (ISO) thru 6/25. The fine print:excludes SALE and PROMOTIONAL items,clearance,alcohol,tobacco,yada yada.... My excitement left me as isn't nearly everything at CVS on sale,promotional,or clearance? I called a rep and she wasn't very encouraging telling me it wouldn't be good on ad items,etc. I asked if it would be good on the 10 for $10 items and she said it should work. Basically,I'm going to my store and asking the manager what I can actually use this nice coupon on. I hate when stores do that If anyone else gets this coupon and uses it,please post.

Ran into CVS this afternoon and scanned my card but the machine said that coupons were "temporarily unavailable". So I didn't get the M&Ms deal (don't really NEED them anyway haha) but got a few coupons printed at the end of my receipt. Last week,I got the email saying that all I needed to do was scan my card and a coupon would print for the $1.99 12 pack of Coke (w/$10 purchase) but no go for the water or M&Ms. I have curtailed most of my shopping at retail stores (I'm a Garage Sale Queen) but am always up for a really good deal. A little OT here on this thread but maybe it will help somebody: Walgreens has the Jack Links beef jerky on sale for $2.99 (ends tomorrow) but some of the packages have $1 off peelies and some of them have $3 off a haircut at Great Clips (expires 12/31/12). Most of the people in my family really love beef jerky so I am stocked up for Father's Day,birthdays and camping!

Thanks for the head's up! I was in Target yesterday for the first time in TWO MONTHS ( ) and didn't see much good clearance. Little girls jeans were 70% off but boys were only 30. Most of my kids are too old for "toy toys" but I always get stuff for DD7 to give for bday parties she's invited to. As a matter of fact,she's going to one on Saturday and I pulled out a big Polly Pocket gift set (comes with 3 Pollys plus tons of clothes/accessories) that I paid $5.48 for reg. $24.99. Great to get those gifts at such a discount!

Dang it-I didn't get this one either. I'd like to know how I got the Coke one last week,but didn't get the water and M&Ms ones this week? I didn't do anything differently (that I know of anyway). Still,I can go in tomorrow and scan my card and get the coupon for the M&Ms right? Thanks for the head's up!

I am right there with you. I used to go at least once a week,but I haven't been since Easter clearance. There's just not anything I see I want even in the ads. Huh-I have a CREDIT of over $17 to spend there and can't find a way to spend it!

If you have a Kroger affiliate store,they are offering 4x fuel points for all their gift card purchases until mid-June. I know they have iTunes cards and you get the bonus points for cheaper gas. HTH

Good ol CVS: Easter candy is now 50% off! (GM 70%)

I was there at opening and Easter was still 70% & 50%! It has always,always gone to 90% the Sunday after Easter and these stores always have markdowns done by opening. Guess I'll try tomorrow. Weird!
