That's my understanding also. I just got an email saying their sales start Thanksgiving Day. AFAIK all our stores are 24 hr. so I take it that means the sales start at midnight on the 24th.

Neither did I.

I shopped both CVS and Walgreens last Thanksgiving but I think they both had 3 day ads (I know Wags did).

Dick's Sporting Goods has a 24 gun safe for $399 (was $699) now. It was on the back page of their ad today.

Thanks Brad and stacya. I am definitely going to try in-store first (nothing like having the prize in your hands) but wanted to know if *maybe* I could try the on-line route. I think shopping is getting more complicated each year!

I don't need movies or music but my eye caught the special deal on that Figit friend. I wouldn't think that would be a LD though. The really major thing I need to score is a single-cup coffee maker (K cup) for $60 or less. I have this on my Watch List at camelcamelcamel so hoping I either score one in-store on BF or Aunt Ammy comes through for me!

Thanks,Brad. Specifically, I am wanting the Mr. Coffee coffee maker at Target for $79.99 with a $30 gift card. That's the only thing I need from Target early. I have read that Target's site is terrible on BF but if I was able to buy this, would they discount the thirty dollars or how do they do that?

I almost always carry cash/credit cards/gift cards in my jeans pockets all the time anyway. I always can feel and know everything is right where it's supposed to be. I have used a fanny pack before but I prefer my pockets.

BBM My van looks like the newspaper factory exploded in it lol! I take most ads and my coupons into each store. I have a special Black Friday purse that I only use that day. It's more like a tote really and all the ads fit nicely in it.I put just about everything except money/credit cards in it. I am way ahead of myself this year though because I've got my handwritten lists and the coupon match-ups in envelopes with the store names on the outside. I have gift cards this year too. Does anybody else start looking for the physical copy of the ads in their house? I have looked at them so often that they seem real to me and then I start looking for the ad but realize they're not even out yet. Jeez....my mind these days.

My dilemma was finding the coat my son wanted in XL tall...not readily available instore at least. I'm happy with my purchase so I'm crossing this gift off my list

The coat my son wants has dropped $10 so I was all set to make the purchase with the additional 20% off with that code from Amazon. I can't get the link to work! ETA-wouldn't work in Firefox,but I got it in IE. I got this in coat in X-Large Tall shipped to my home in 2 days for $55.99! Whew!

I'd like to see what Finish Line is doing for BF. Last year they had the really nice NCAA hoodies 2/$30 or $40 (regular $40/$50 a piece). I need those and socks.

I'll probably get there between 6-8 a.m. Not much I really want and it will be probably the 6th store on my list. Not sure which WM I'll be going to.

Don't forget to pick up the big coupon booklet at the cosmetics counter. The front has Make this Season Stunning over $25 of coupons inside. At the back there is a $1 off coupon for any Revlon cosmetic. In the BF ad, Revlon lipstick or lipgloss is $4.99 with $4 RR. The coupons are good til Christmas.

I definitely remember it being a good ad for me too and was waiting on Sunday morning. It wouldn't take much to beat their BF ad this year though,imo.
