I ran into Kohl's today to pay my bill and saw the big clearance sale in every department. Many things 90% off (after you take 40% off the lowest ticketed price) plus,I had a 20% off coupon! I found some really great things in mens,bath and kitchen textiles,and boys. Oh,I found some Levi's jeans for myself-orig. (MSRP) of $58 for $8.44.

Hi Kathy! Where have you been???? I haven't been in JCP since Christmas (haven't needed anything) but they are sending out some EXPENSIVE (IMO) catalogues to me in the mail. Granted,they are beautiful productions but I wonder how much those things cost? I really loved the promos I got like $10 off $10 or $10 off $25-that's really when I shopped Penney's. I spent a lot of my dollars there in Nov/Dec. I will probably be there to see what they have for Easter clothes. I really do like their quality and styles of clothing but if they've stopped the Hello Red discounts/incentives,I might do better at Kohl's. I will just add that my Penney's was PACKED every weekend this past holiday season-it was almost too crowded to shop! I took that as a good sign,but apparently not

This hasn't happened before to me,but I just got an HHGregg President's Sale ad in the mail! It says the sale is now through Feb. 25 with "an additional 10% off our everyday low prices on all major appliances". I don't know what kind of w/d you're wanting but they are showing a Frigidaire steam w/d for $1399.99 and an Estate (never heard of the brand) w/elec.dryer for $599.99. HTH

<smh> Honestly,they should be lucky to be getting a buck for these items. It's February and the focus is on Valentine's Day! I've seen Easter things out so Christmas is in the rear view mirror for most shoppers,IMO.

Lol-that's crazy! How long will they keep it around? All our WMs were cleared out pretty quickly. As much as I love Christmas,I am not even thinking about it anymore tbh.

All Christmas clearance is now a DIME at DG! As you can imagine,there is precious little left,but I managed to find a 2 pack of curly ribbon bows (blue) which I can use throughout the year. I got a chuckle out of buying Christmas stuff in February!

This could be YMMV but ON LINE I was not given KC for the before discount amount and the CS rep told me that in redeeming KC,it counts as a coupon. I had this problem on Black Friday (actually,Thanksgiving) as it was my first time using Kohls.com. It was a whole lot of calling CS for me but now I know. IN STORE,they have always given me KC on the before discount amount. Please post how it turns out because I certainly was unclear on how it worked online. Hoping for the best for you!

I finally got to go to my CVS (first time this year!) and nothing left of Christmas but Quarterly Rewards are out. I got a $6 EB. Best score was the hair dyes (thanks Shay in SC!). They were marked down 75% and I had manufacturer's coupons so I got several for $1.24! The brands were Clairol and Loreal. I REALLY wanted to find a 2009 ornament! That is the funniest thing I have ever seen

90% off at Toys R Us-mostly just candy,candy canes,stockings left but I had $4 in Rewards to spend and filled up an entire bag of stuff for FREE!

I know I got baskets last year after Christmas for 90% off but I don't think I've ever got any products at 90%.

Just a head's up-my Kroger affiliate store has these discounted 50% off right now (so $4). I found many of the months at one store. Yay! I got the only September one left for my little girl! If anyone wants a specific one,I could maybe try to get one. The only months I didn't see at this store were April and May. Only one June and July left. The other months were in pretty good supply. Be on the lookout for clearance at your store.

I happened to be in a WM in a totally different part of the city (went in for deli items) and checked their clearance and this store had 3 aisles of things at 75% off! I saw things there I never saw in a couple other WMs but not a roll of wrapping paper to be found and very few gift bags. They had candles,cups galore,decorations like the picks,wreaths,all kinds of plastic containers. Just weird how much was left at this store when the others were picked clean at 50%. Stores in more affluent parts of town tend to have far more clearance items for longer periods of time,IME.

When I first get to the clearance area,I quickly scan and head for what I am wanting most. Then I move on to the next area. I load up my cart and go to a scanner and decide what I am keeping or what I need more of I then go back to the area and really search high and low and I am amazed at how much I missed the first go around! Not only that; but sometimes you just don't see everything the first time through no matter how hard you are looking. I hit the Mother Lode for the Xmas clothes today at the first Target I went to. I was there long enough that they actually pulled out an entire cart of clothes. It was mostly baby things and I got some for donations and also for my nephews/nieces but there were plenty of adult clothes but I didn't see a Grinch shirt or I would have nabbed it

I didn't see ANY wrapping paper at any Target for 90% and not much at 70%. I actually picked up a few of the long rolls at WM today for .61 (75%). It does seem like one year will have tons of one type of thing and the next year,nothing! People here must love tissue paper because there's never a scrap of it left at even 70%-it's one of the first things to go at 50%,and that is at WM,Wags,CVS or even grocery stores! I am shocked when I read where people picked up tissue paper at 90% today I love hearing about what deals everybody got though-it's almost like Christmas all over again!

Dang those are cute! Too bad my sons only wear boxer briefs. I found a Gears of War3 in a metal tin sleep short that rang up for $1.29 (so 90% off) but had to put it back because I doubted my boys would wear it. In the men's dept. I saw some woven boxers (Christmas patterns) hanging on the pegs but at only 50% off.
